Chapter 11

The cabin was a three-hour drive, so it was getting dark quickly, and it was cold by the time we got there. I pick up my head as we turn onto a dirt road. I looked at Ace for a moment until we stopped. I looked to see a cabin that was two stories tall. It had a staircase on the outside leading up stairs and down on both sides of the cabin.

The cabin had an old but new look to it, with the logs on the outside. I look at it in amazement. I didn't realize that Ace had gotten out of the car until he opened my door. I get out and look at it. He looks at me with a smile. "Do you like it?" I look at him.

"It's beautiful," He grabs my suitcase from the backseat, and we walk up to the door. He unlocks it and opens it for me. It was too dark to see anything.

"Hold on," He said. I waited a second until the lights came on. The inside was beautiful. The furniture was brown with an antique look to it. The curtains were white. The kitchen had counters and a table set that matched the walls of the h
