Accepting Death

During the day, Rose spent her time sauntering around the castle to know her way around the place. She didn't want to feel as if she was locked inside a large doll-like house. While Rose was uncomfortable with the gazes the servants threw and after the remarks she received, she didn't want to bend her head down as she had done nothing wrong.

Dominic was gone by the time it was afternoon. She thought with such a large house, the place would become lively but it was the complete opposite. The duke left and Rose didn't bother putting her nose by asking where he was. Lady Ashley remain in her room while the younger brother of Dominic was gone from sight.

Rose, now alone, sighed. She felt that the smaller a house was, perhaps the livelier it is.

Standing near the garden, her eyes sparkled when she saw the roses that bloomed all over the place. The sweet fragrance made her smile blossom and she continued to walk, admiring the flowers around her.
