Chapter 21: More Surveillance

A black Camaro pulled up in front of the Schmidt house around two in the afternoon, snapping Cassie out of her surveillance coma. Shrinking back in her seat, she watched as Tricia emerged from the house, dressed as the floozy alter ego, and got into the Camaro. As they pulled away from the curb, Cassie recorded the plate number.

"Finally! God, I hope this is the guy." Cassie pulled out onto the street to tail them and followed the Camaro to the Green Valley Country Club, just north of the city. Since she wasn't a member, she parked in the visitor lot, snagging a spot with a decent view of the road, so she could see when the Camaro drove out.

Settling in for another long wait, she whipped out her phone and texted Daniel the plate number.

He texted back: I'm on it.

Cassie replied: Anything else on Jenna?

Not yet. Randy has me running: he replied.

"Well, this sucks," she said to her puppy. They had been waiting for over an hour and the puppy was starting to squirm. Tricia
