Chapter 16

A knock on the door was heard. A girl entered while holding a basket of strawberries and other fruits.

My parents aren't here, and my mom is busy getting stuff I can use during my stay here in the hospital. While my dad , he said he had a business meeting he should attend,

"Hi," she greeted me.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Patrish Raven Hinsen, I'm your cousin." She lowers her gaze and sighs.

I opened my phone and looked at the gallery. My mom created a gallery containing pictures of those who are to be trusted; of course, it also has names.

"Patrish," I utter. And voila, I saw her image.

It is indeed her. "Hello," I greeted. I don't know what to say.

Is she someone I am close with?

She sits in the corner of my bed. "So... you indeed lost your memories."

I couldn't hear her crying, but I saw her wipe the tears from her cheeks. "Don't cry"
