Chapter 60

“Why are you here?”

It was late at night yet Kianna asked her father and mother to see them. The light coming from the chandelier lights up the whole place. It was dark outside, if one look at the glass door, the only thing they can see is the glimpse of the grass outside the house. Sitting in the sofa on their living room, Kianna is holding Drake’s hand which makes her Dad frown. Her mother saw it and smiled. It is a good thing that her mother is here. She is always outside the country yet her timing of visiting is perfect.

“We would like to get married.”

Kianna said without any hesitation. Mr. Hinsen look at Drake which makes the young man smile.

“We are here to ask both of your permission.” Bowing his head to give his courtesy and respect, Kianna also did the same.

‘Um… wait, why are we even doing this?’ Kianna thought as she look at her fiancé who took a glimpse at her.

“I love your daughter more than anything else. I want to marry her. Please, give us your consent.”
