Betrayed

Weeks have passed. No sign of the serpentine. We have remained at the wolf house. We've made friends and I've done my best to avoid the lycan. It's hard when he can sense me and smell me. Even when I'm 5 miles away. 

"Maybe we should bring the fight to their door. It was my palace. I know the ins and outs. I'm sure I can come up with a plan. My only concern is, I still do not know, the full extent of the serpentine queens power" I say to Janice feeling slightly restless waiting for an attack.

"Hmmm perhaps, my lady. I think it's best to wait. Alarich last informed us, The queen has been keeping her head down. Your sires grow restless under her rule. Many want to come to you." 

I doubt she will keep her head down for long. I saw the pleasure she took in capturing the witch queen. She is of Thorne's seed for sure. I contemplate what Janice just said. 

"Yes, perhaps you are right. I just hate waiting whilst mini Thorne plans her next move. The
