The adopted younger sister claimed to be suffering from depression. To make her feel better, my parents hung me on the cliff, as if I were a kite. Servant reminded my parents that the little tree to which I was hung was fragile, leaving me in danger. My mom, Luna of the pack, replied scoffingly: "She makes Laurel sleep panic. She deserves to be treated like this. If she dies, it's her fate." My older brother, Zayn, joked by her side, saying: "It's a good chance to record how long werewolves live when they do not conduct feeding activities. We can contribute a lot to the Werewolf Council with this precious data." Even my mate, Greyson, showed an attitude of stoniness, uttering: "She is a vicious she-wolf. If she were not educated well enough before her transformation ritual, she would cause greater trouble to others." They left me alone on the cliff after saying these words. Three days later, it finally crossed their minds that I was still hanging. When they finally arrived at the cliff, they found nothing but emptiness—because I had already died long before. And when they realized the truth, they howled in agony, begging for me to come back to life. But I was long gone.

Chapter 1

Three days after my death. My corpse under the cliff was discovered by werewolves living around the spot, which the Pack Daily News covered.

Before long, this piece of news was reprinted by various media outlets. Insiders revealed that the corpse belonged to a young she-wolf that had yet fully shifted.

Werewolf Council reported that the corpse fell from high above, with bone fractures all over the body, claws cut off and was munched by wild animals.

My parents were shocked to hear this news on TV, especially my mom, tears brimming instantly with worries and heartbreak.

"What a demon, to be so cruel to such a young she-wolf. This would kill her parents."

On hearing these, I looked into her eyes and could not help but chuckle with mockery.

Mom, if you knew it was me who died, would you still be so sad?

The news was still on.

The servant looked at the image of the cliff on TV, and a thought crossed his mind; then his face turned pale. "Luna, last night we went to the cliff to find Miss Petra, but she was nowhere to be found." Servant continued, "Is it possible that something bad happened to her? Should we report it to the Werewolf Council?"

My mom turned sullen when my name was brought up. "There is no need to worry about her. I'd rather she died. But for her, Laurel is still the most potential dancer of the pack. That vicious murderer, to be alive, is harmful to the world."

Three years ago. Laurel fell over the floor of an abandoned building of Werewolf Academy. Her wolf was hurt badly; her life was saved, but her leg was severely damaged, making it impossible for her to be a Werewolf Ritual dancer.

To be a member of the Werewolf Ritual was her dream and an expectation of my pack.

So when she woke up and accused me of pushing her down. My pack hated me to hell.

Servant sighed out a long, heavy breath, with his voice lowered, he tried to persuade my mom: "That thing has passed for a long time. Why is Luna still so angry at Miss Petra? She is your only precious own daughter after all …"

My mom was not pleased with his words. She interrupted him and raised her voice: "I don't want her as my daughter, she is so evil. Laurel was supposed to be a lead dancer in Werewolf Ritual, but was all ruined by her." She continued: "If I had known this would happen, I would never have taken her back. It's better to let her die outside."

I was frozen by her words, even with only my soul, I still felt that coldness. I heard those words a thousand times. But I was still hurt. Since I knew it was not words of anger, but her real wish. She wished me dead for real.

From the day Laurel accused me of the crime, every time the word "dance" popped up into her view, she would drag my hair and make me kneel before Laurel for her forgiveness. In the name of education, my mom poured her anger on my leg in various ways. Only to make Laurel happy.

I told them over and over again that I had never pushed her, but they didn't trust me.

Not even once was I trusted by them.
