Chapter 67: The Plan (part 2)

"What!?" Austin exclaimed as soon she heard what Shaun have said. "You want to proceed with the Lycaea, gain that power and kill me Are you out of your stupid and empty mind!?" she angrily said as he put on her clothes and fixed herself.

"What!? What do you think of me!?" Shaun answered, "Do you think I can do that to you?" he said reaching for the woman's arms.

Austin's expression softens as she exhaled and sat down on Shaun's bed. "Just explain everything to me. What do you mean of going along with the ceremony?" she said.

Shaun sat down beside her and pulled her closer to his side, "I only meant it as an act." he said. "We have to make Veto and his ally to believe that I really lose my control over you, gave in to my temptation and in the end, killed you with my own two hands. We have to make them lower their guards for our plans to be successful." he said stroking the woman's hair down gently.
