Chapter 49 Fight to The Exit

“How is that guy here already?!” Byron gritted his teeth and clutched the side of his head where it hit the wall of the submarine.

Another screen flashed in front of us, broadcasting the footage from the side camera. Ylgarr's submarine appeared to be in rough shape, which suggested he had a difficult time getting all the way here - t his made me concerned about Skyr and the others. What happened to them? Were they not going to stop him?

I ignored all of my concerns in order to concentrate on the present circumstance. When we were struck by the collision, I unconsciously let go of the rod. Now I'm not sure where I left it.

“Byron, I lost it,” I told him. Sweat dripped to the side of my face as I frantically searched for the familiar golden hilt.
