73-The daughter

“Go to your rooms, the both of you!” Dad told Alice and I as he was trying to button up his pyjama top, clumsily.

“Anna, how could you do this?” I asked her, felling such a heavy weight on my heart.

She too, trying to wear her uniform.

“I’m so sorry.” Anna told us. “I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean for you guys to see this.”

“Just go back upstairs now.” Dad was telling us.

“How could you, dad?” Alice was asking, I could see her eyes fill with tears. Alice was gonna cry!

“Weren’t you the one who is always about respect and loyalty to the family?” I asked him. “How could you do this to us? Is this what you call respect?” 

“Raphael.” I heard my mother’s squeaky voice. When I turned around, she threw both her hands to her mouth and began crying. She looked so vulnerable.
