Chapter 2

Walking out of the hotel, tears started streaming down her face. Although she had been holding back the tears just now in the ballroom, she couldn't help but cry out uncontrollably.

Her boyfriend for four years cheated on her. Hailing a taxi, she headed back to her apartment. She couldn't help herself as she cried in the taxi. The driver asked where she was off to. With tears and snot on her face, she told him.

Arriving, she took out a wet tissue and wiped the tears and snort before getting down. Walking upstairs, she entered her apartment.

As soon as she shut the door behind her, she sat on the floor and reminisced on how her relationship for the four years has been.

The happy memories in the first two years, how Daniel showered her with love all those times and even when she was leaving for her studies, the pendant he had given to her that was suppose to take care of her till she was back.

All this time she was away, Daniel had been calling her for the first six months, but from then on whenever she called he was either busy or cannot be reached.

Never in her wildest dreams did she think Daniel would be cheating on her with someone else. And even if he did cheat on her why couldn't it be any other person but her stepsister the person she hated the most.

After shedding tears for sometimes, she lay flat on the floor with her eyes open staring at nothing in particular. All she felt now was pain as her heart was bleeding.

At dusk, she decided to freshen up. As it was already getting late and her apartment has been empty for a while, she decided to clean up and prepared to head for the biggest entertainment center in the city.

After freshening up, she then left for the club - a popular one as such Kiki Bees.

In the club, she recalled a statement which goes as 'the best place to be on a cold and harsh night to have fun is always the club'.

Although she wasn't the party  type, and wasn't that used to the place, she was okay as long as she downed some wine.

She leaned on the bar counter downing one glass after another. After a while, someone came to sit beside her and asked "Miss, Are you alone?"

She looked at him and turned her eyes away. The man then ordered two shots of wine and gave one to her.

Drinking it, the man then placed his hand on her shoulder and rubbed her shoulders.

Feeling his touch, she shuddered for a moment and said "Piss off".

He looked at her and continued to rub her shoulders. "How about I keep you company tonight.".

Pushing the hand off her shoulder, she shouted again "Piss off".

The man smiled at her and said "Wow, you are really fierce. I like fierce girls. Besides, any lady who says piss off actually wants me to stay. I know your mouth is saying piss off, but in your mind, you want me to stay... Haha.."

Pushing him away, she tried to move away but ended up leaning on him. As that the man laughed and said. "Haha... I knew you wanted me to stay".

As the man was trying to harass her, she got up again but staggered due to the wine and ended up leaning on him again. With that, the man tried to kiss her.

Pushing him, she yelled yet again "Piss off." Holding the chair, she staggered finding her way out.

As she tried to move, the man signaled someone and she was surrounded. Moving closer to her he said "Babe, I know you want me."

Feeling a chill run down her spine, she felt cold all over. "What did you put in the drink? You drugged me."

Without waiting for his reply, she staggered to a man she saw entering the club.

Holding unto him, she said "Save me... Please save me. He wants to take advantage of me."

Raising her head to look at the man, she found him dashing. Opening her mouth again, she complimented him. "Wow, you look handsome. Who are you? Do you mind accompanying me for the night?"

Since she was drunk, the man didn't say anything but looked to his assistant who then said. "Sir I'm sorry. Didn't know someone would hold unto you as soon as you entered. Let me take her away."

Reaching out his hand to pry her from his bosses hand, Nathan Clemon replied. "No need, just take care of them." 

Stopping his hand in mid air, he was shocked. Boss the clean freak? Shocked as he was, Nathan Clemon spoke again. "What are you waiting for?"

With the girl still in front of him, he held her hand and walked towards his private room. Since she was drunk, she was staggering so Nathan carried her in his arms all the way to the elevator.

Noticing that she was about to be taken away, the man yelled. "Who the hell are you? I took a liking to her first. Do you know who I am?"

Without replying him Nathan entered the elevator.

Turning around to look at them, Stanley smirked. "Who do you think you are?"

"My father is the CEO of Kirkland Group."

Paying no heed to him, he continued asking. "Which one of you touched the lady just now?"

As one of the men was quick enough to recognize the assistant, he tried to mend the situation. "It's nothing but a misunderstanding. We are sorry."

Smiling Stanley sneered. "A misunderstanding? Okay. Boss wants the hand that touched the lady just now to be cut off and used as a souvenir. So next time you won't make that mistake of harrassing a lady."

Panicking, they got on their knees.

Thump, thump thump 

Looking at them, Stanley ordered for them to be taken care of by the bodyguards and left merciless without looking back.

Feeling the man's body against hers, she started feeling hot all over. 

Mumbling under her breath, she said. "It's hot..."

Touching the man on his chest as two buttons of his shirt button was open, the man froze for a moment and understood what was happening.

Upon arriving in his private room, the man brought her over into the bathroom. Putting her in the bath tub, he turn on the tap.

When the water touched her skin, she started crying. "You are a bad man. The water is cold, I don't want to bath bring me out."

Looking at her, the man's face darkened but he held back and said. "Don't worry. It won't be for that long. I will take you out soon."

"No, no take me out now. You a bad man. You cheated on me now you want to drown me." With tears and snort on her face, she yelled at him.

Looking at her who was talking nonsense, Nathan walked out of the bathroom and dialed a number.

Speaking on the phone, he said. "Come to Kiki Bees now with some medications."

Hanging up, he walked back into the bathroom. After some time, Stanley his assistant walked into the room and said to him. "Sir, it is done."

Nodding his head, he asked him to wait for Samuel Fleming at the door and direct him in later.
