Birthday celebrated in arrears

"Really? Where will Jake sit?" Clara asked 

"With you i think"

Clara gave her an unsatisfactory look but deep down, she is happy that Jake will be sitting with her 

Sandra went staright to Donald's desk and sit because Jake wasn't yet in the school. When Jake came into the class, Sandra pointed at her previous sit for him, and without hesitation, he went and sit with Clara

"You saw my gift" Donald asked Sandra 

"Yes,  i also saw the write-up in it" Sandra aswered

"Why don't you tell me that you love me all this while?" Sandra asked with a low voice 

"Hmmm...." Donald sighed out

"Am all ears" Sandra persist

"I feel like to mingle with people of same status with me" Donald said 

"You may not be rich now but you are a great mathematician: must you find a great mathematician before you mingle?" Sandra asked

"You know that birds of the same feather flies together. I may be a mathematician but I'm not rich" Donald answered

"You cannot be serious. I am not rich too. My mother and I are very poor. Hope you are fine now" Sandra said with a little smile on her face 

"You are very funny. I just like your sense of humor" Donald said smiling

"Wow! Am happy I can do something you like. I love when you smile. You look cute when smiling" Sandra said with a very low voice with her mouth closely move to Donald's ears 

Donald became silent for a while before a teacher came in to interrupt their conversation.

"Clara, I am going to celebrate my birthday today" Sandra said while herself and Clara were ridding to school the following day

"Really? What do you mean by that? Your birthday have passed. Are you going to celebrate it in arrears?" Clara asked with confusion written on her face 

"You remember I told you that I don't know whether I was going to celebrate the birthday. Though I celebrated it but it was not enthusiastic. I just did the celebration for formality because I don't want to be asked by too many people. It wasn't fascinating" Sandra said as she rolls her eyes jokingly

"Wow! Now I understand. I see love in the sky. Its emitting smokes like incense" Clara said with smiles on her face

"I will get special drink for him" Sandra said

"I can't wait to have a love too" Clara said 

"Here we come" Sandra said when her driver arrives and pack by their school gate

Sandra waited patiently, although a bit restless until break time

She lie over her desk trying to look at Donald in the eyes

Donald had no knowledge that Sandra was trying to have an eye contact with him. When he realize, he beam a smile

"Uh... Uh.." Clara clear her throat when she get to Sandra and Donald's desk and see the way they were looking at each other 

"Can we go out now?" Clara asked 

"Yes. Donald, please let's go to the cafeteria" Sandra pleaded

"Really, to go do what exactly?" Donald investigated 

Sandra just stand up without saying more words. She grap Donald by his right hand and drag him up and out of the classroom

    When they get to the cafeteria

"Bills on you Sandra. I will order any drink of my choice and you will pay for it" Clara said heading to the counter

"Alright. Donald what drink do you want?" Sandra asked 

"Sandra, am not use to all this wine and I don't take alcohol. Just buy whatever you think can do" Donald said

"Alright" Sandra said and stand up for the counter

Sandra ordered for J.C. Le Roux wine for Donald and herself. She return to Donald with the drink

"This will be fine" Sandra said 

"Hope it is not alcoholic?" Donald investigates

"No, I don't take alcohol too" Sandra confirmed

Sandra pour some quantity on each of their glasses, she raise her glass up for a toast. Donald gently lift his as well as Clara and they made a toast

They all drink with smiles. They chatted through the whole time the spent in the cafeteria

After school dismissal, Sandra didn't see any notification from her driver signifying his arrival at the gate

Donald was still sitting in class, writing out some laws in mathematics when the rest of the students have left the classroom

"The driver is not yet around Clara" Sandra said when they get to the gate of their school

"Yes. Maybe something hold him back" Clara said 

"But where is Donald? I have not seen him passing since I bid him farewell?" Sandra said 

"Maybe you should go check the classroom while I wait for the driver's arrival. I will notify you immediately he arrives" Clara said

"Aright. Thanks" Sandra said and turn around immediately, heading for the classroom

She walked quickly to the classroom with a slight bordering heart. She wore a look of worries, thinking something unwelcome have happened to Donald

She entered into the classroom to find Donald sitting and writing with absolute interest on what he was writing

Sandra gently tiptoe to avoid being noticed by Donald until she gets to him

"Hey!" Sandra said suddenly

Donald gasp at the hearing of her voice. Donald was unaware that someone was coming to the classroom. Beside, he throught that all the students have left for their houses and hostels

"Ouch! You scared me Sandra" Donald said with his left hand on his chest

"Sorry about that love" Sandra apologized, taking sit next to Donald

"You are still writing theories in mathematics when the school have dismissed" Sandra said when she have noticed what Donald was writing laws in mathematics 

"I wanted to write it in the morning but I didn't have time to do that, I just want to do it now" Donald said 

"Alright. Donald, I want to get you a handset" Sandra said looking straight into his eyes

"No. I don't want" Donald said taking his eyes off Sandra 

"Really? You don't want to take something from me right" Sandra said with an emotional voice as she turns away from Donald

Donald gently keep his pen down and hold her, turning her around. Donald turn her around to face him. Their faces come very close to each other. They both starting breathing heavily. Donald's heart was beating so fast because he have never kissed
