Chapter 36.

Ivy heard his yell and became alert. She went upstairs to check what had happened but he was nowhere to be found.

"He acts like a child, always throwing tantrums" Ivy rolled her eyes and went to her room.

She sniffed the fresh roses before dropping them on the bed along with the card. She left her room and went to get a vase from the storage room.

She added some water to it and took it back to her room. She put the flowers, one after the other, into the vase.

She also placed the card beside it and smiled gladly. She went to take her phone and called him.

'Hello, Daniel' Ivy giggled and sat on her bed.

'Hey, beautiful. Did you like the flowers that I sent you?' Daniel asked in a charming tone.

'Your gesture cheered me up, they smelled good and I loved them. Thank you for sending them to me' Ivy appreciates him with a smile on her lips.

Daniel's heart was gladdened by her words.
