Antonia's POV.

“I love you, and that is why I cannot let you go. Logan is still out there. I haven't apprehended the bastard yet because I don't want to leave his people defenseless especially when Olivia was still alive…”

“I don't want him to hurt you,” He said, stepping close to me.

“You are the only one hurting me right now. I don't want my baby to get hurt, too. I don't want your fiancée to harm me or my child,” I uttered, touching my stomach again.

“She's not my fiancée. What you saw in that piano room was nothing. She forcefully kissed me, nothing was going on between us, and everything that she said was a lie!” He insisted.

“Fine, she's a liar and you hid everything to protect me. It wouldn't change the fact that she could turn bitter and hurt me. Your grandfather had hurt me before, he could do it again.”

“What do you mean by that? When did my grandfather hurt you?” He questioned.
