ログインScarlett’s POV
I returned to my room slowly, closing the door behind me. For a moment, I just stood there quietly. Then I walked to the bed and sat down, my fingers tightening around my phone. Then I opened the photo Usher had sent. I stared at it for a long time. In my previous life, I always believed I was nothing but an Omega, an orphan. Someone with no background, no family, no value. The entire pack looked down on me. Ignored me, avoided me. And then… Killian appeared. He married me. Gave me a place. A name. I thought he saved me. I was so grateful. So stupid. A bitter smile formed on my lips. I gave him everything. I worked day and night in the lab. I helped him develop drug after drug. I pushed my body to its limit just so he could shine in front of the Council. And in the end… He only wanted my ability. Nothing more. My fingers tightened. “This time…” I whispered softly, “you will get nothing from me.” Just then, I heard a knock on the door, jolting me out of my thoughts. “Come in,” I said calmly. The door opened and Leo walked in. My eyes softened for a brief second… then turned cold again. In his hands was a glass of hot milk. "Mom…” he said quietly, avoiding my eyes. “I’m sorry for earlier.” I didn’t respond. “I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that,” he continued. “I was wrong.” He walked closer and placed the glass on the table beside me. “I brought you milk,” he said. “Please drink it.” My gaze slowly moved to the glass milk. In my past life… this was where it started. Every night, he brought me milk. Every night, I drank it. Thinking it was love. Thinking it was care. But instead… It was poison. My beloved son was poisoning me My health slowly got worse after that. And I never questioned it. My chest tightened. I looked at Leo. His face looked innocent, obedient just like before. But now… I could see through it. My heart ached. This boy… The boy I loved with all my heart was the one who helped destroy me. “Leave it there,” I said calmly. He nodded and set the milk down, reminded me that Killian wanted to see me downstairs, and left. The moment the door clicked shut, I picked up my phone and called Mira , my Delta, one of the few people in this pack whose loyalty I had genuinely earned through years of quiet, consistent fairness. She picked up on the first ring. "Mira. Come to my room. There's a glass of milk on my table. I need it taken to the lab and tested before morning. Don't touch it with your bare hands." "Understood, Ma'am." She replied. I leaned back slightly, closing my eyes. My suspicions will be confirmed soon. ...... When I went downstairs, I immediately saw Killian and Tiffany. She was holding his arm, smiling sweetly. The moment she saw me, she slowly let go. Like she didn’t want me to misunderstand. I almost laughed. Too late. I already know everything. “Scarlett,” Killian called. I walked closer, my expression calm. “I have something to discuss with you,” he said. I nodded. “Go ahead.” “Tiffany will be joining the company,” he said. Of course. I glanced at Tiffany. She lowered her head shyly, but I could see the pride in her eyes. “She found a way to suppress silver poison,” Killian continued. “If this research succeeds, it will help me pass the Council’s test.” I almost smiled. Suppress? Not cure? So she still doesn’t understand the formula. Good. Very good. "That's a wonderful idea," I said. "Actually... I think Tiffany should take over the silver poisoning research entirely. I've been meaning to take a few days away. This works out perfectly." The silence that followed was almost entertaining. Both of them blinked. Neither of them had been prepared for that. "I... are you sure?" Killian said. "Completely." I covered a small yawn with my hand. "I'm exhausted, honestly. I need rest. Tiffany can handle it. She clearly has ideas. It's fine." Killian opened his mouth, like he wanted to say something. But I had already turned away. “I’m going upstairs,” I said. “I need rest.” And without waiting for his reply, I walked away. ......... The next morning, I got ready early. Today… I am leaving. Not forever. But at least, I would start building my own place. My own life. I got into the car and drove toward the Valley Wolf Pack. The house I wanted was there, right at the border between Silver Moon and the Valley. Perfect. Close enough to watch everything. Far enough to stay away. A small smile appeared on my lips. “This time… I choose myself.” ......... The Valley Wolf Pack’s auction house was even more beautiful than I remembered. It has large gates, tall walls, and guards everywhere. Inside, you could buy anything; rare herbs, precious crystals, even mansions. Power and wealth. Everything gathered in one place. I stepped forward, calm and confident. But before I could enter, a guard blocked my way. “Stop.” I paused. Another guard stepped closer… then sniffed the air. His expression changed instantly with disgust. “An Omega?” he said sharply. “Get lost.” My eyes turned cold. “Omegas are not allowed inside,” he continued. “This place is not for you.” I took a slow breath. “I’m here for the auction,” I said calmly. He laughed. “Did you not hear me? Leave!” He groaned. “I have the right to be here,” I said, my voice steady. He crossed his arms. “And what right is that?” I looked him straight in the eye. “I am the successor of the Moonlight Pack’s Alpha.” There was silence, then laughter. Not just from the guards. But also from behind me. I turned to see a young woman standing a few feet away, flanked by guards. I recognized her immediately, though she clearly didn't recognize me. She's Julie. Daughter of the Red Moon Pack's Alpha. I had seen her before… from a distance. At a wolf feast. But she didn’t recognize me. Of course she didn’t. To people like her… I was invisible. “You?” she laughed. “Moonlight Pack?” She walked closer, looking me up and down. “I’ve never heard that Alpha Arther has a daughter,” she said mockingly. “And even if he did… it definitely wouldn’t be an Omega like you.” Her words were sharp. But this time they didn’t hurt. They just made me feel… cold. “Do you know the punishment for impersonating an Alpha’s heir?” she continued, her smile turning cruel. “You should be careful.” I didn’t respond. I didn’t even look at her again. Instead, I took out my phone and dialed Usher’s number. But before the call could connect... “Hey!” Julie’s voice turned sharp. “How dare you ignore me?” I still didn’t respond. I simply held my phone to my ear. Her anger exploded as she glared at me with rage. In the next second, she shifted. Her claws extended. Her aura flared. “I’ll teach you a lesson,” she growled, ready to attack me. Gasps filled the entrance as the guards stepped backward.Scarlett's POV I stood beside my father's body until the doctors came to prepare him. Then I stepped outside, leaned against the cold corridor wall, closed my eyes, and gave myself exactly sixty seconds to fall apart.Sixty seconds. That was all I could afford. When I opened my eyes again, Usher was waiting nearby with the patience of someone who understood grief without needing to fill it with noise."There is something you should know," he said quietly. "Alpha Dominic of Ashwood is hosting a ball in two days. He has extended an invitation to you.""I want to take my father's body to Moonlight Pack first," I said."I will handle the arrangements personally," Usher said. "The funeral details will need to be discussed with Luna Christine and the pack elders.""Christine?” I asked softly.“She is the Luna Alpha Arther married after your mother passed,” Usher explained.Something twisted inside me. But I didn’t say anything. Then Usher looked at me again. “But, my lady… I think you shou
Scarlett’s POVThe Moonlight Werewolf Hospital stood tall in front of me.Tall gates surrounded the building, with layers of security cameras, tracking movement along every corner.Gamma warriors stood everywhere; on the ground, near the entrance, even on the rooftopsTheir eyes were sharp.Everywhere was heavily guarded. No one could enter without permission. Even the air felt strict and controlled.Usher was stopped at the gate.I watched the head Gamma warrior step forward and request credentials without a flicker of deference, even as he clearly recognized the man in front of him. Usher produced his identification without complaint and submitted to the verification process with the patience of someone who respected the protocol rather than resented it.I can't believe that even Usher needed to be checked. That meant one thing.Whoever was inside was very important. My heart tightened.Without saying anything, I followed behind him.My fingers curled slightly.I didn’t know why…B
Scarlett’s POVJulie’s eyes burned with anger. Her lips curled as she lunged at me, her claws sharp and aimed straight for my throat.“I’ll teach you a lesson...” She roared with fury, but didn’t get to finish her words as a strong hand suddenly caught her wrist mid-air.Her claws stopped just inches away from my skin.“Lay your filthy finger on her…” A deep, cold voice rang out. “And you lose your head.”The air turned deadly silent, making Julie freeze.I slowly turned my head and saw a tall man standing between us.He looked calm… but the anger in his eyes was terrifying. His grip on Julie’s wrist tightened slightly, making her wince. His presence alone was enough to make the air heavy. He was dressed in black, his posture straight and powerful. On his chest was a symbol, a crescent moon marked with silver lines.Wait, that's the Silver Moonlight Pack symbol. So… this must be Usher.Behind him stood several Gamma warriors. Each of them looked strong, cold, and ready to kill.Their

Scarlett’s POVWhen I opened my eyes again, the first thing that hit me was the light. It was too bright.I squinted my eyes, raising my hand to block the sunlight pouring through the window. My heart was beating fast, but… not in pain.I froze. No pain?Slowly, I sat up.My breathing was steady. My chest didn’t hurt. My body didn’t feel weak again.I looked around and I was shocked that I was in my room. The Alpha residence… in Silver Moon Pack.My hands started to shake.“No way…” I whispered.I grabbed my phone with trembling fingers and checked the date.My heart skipped. One year.Goddess, I had gone back one year.I rushed to the mirror, almost tripping over my own feet. When I looked at my reflection, I froze again. My face was healthy. No pale skin. No dark circles. No signs of sickness. The poisoning hasn't started yet.I touched my cheek slowly, like I was afraid I would disappear.Goddess, I’m… alive… I'm alive!!I pressed my hand flat against the mirror and stared at myse
Scarlett’s POVI groan softly, a sharp pain tearing through my chest as I struggle to breathe. Each inhale feels like I’m drowning, like something is crushing my lungs from the inside.I can feel it.Goddess, I’m dying. The realization settles heavily in my chest, colder than the pain itself. But even now… even at the edge of death… There's only one thing I want.Killian.I want to see my husband.Just once.Since I fell ill, he has only visited me once. Just once. There was always an excuse that he was busy, tied up with pack matters, meetings he couldn’t miss. And I… I believed him every single time. But now, as my world slowly fades to black, all I want is to see him… and Leo, my son.My hands tremble as I reach for my phone. It feels heavier than usual, like even lifting it is draining the last bit of strength I have left.I dialed Killian’s number.Busy.My heart sanks.I try again, forcing myself to stay conscious. This time, the call connects. But the voice that answers is not
