The Beach

Three months later....

"Mom! Mom! Let's go out to the beach, I heard it's way cool at the beach!" Fred tried to pull Valeria off the bed, but she wasn't going to get up, not even if the world came crashing at that very moment.

"Not today, please. Let me be Fred, I promise I'll take you there some other time."

"But mom...that's what you said last month, and the last two weeks," Fred complained.

"Come on Fred, mummy isn't in the mood to go out now. If you really want to go to the beach, I can take you there, you know."

"Really, grandma?"

"Yes, of course, my grandson."

"Come on ma, you still aren't strong enough yet, I don't want you falling sick again," Valeria stated, sitting up straight on her bed.

"I know, but I also learnt that it would really help me a lot if I could go out more often."

"That's for sure mom, don't worry, when I'm feeling a little better, I'll take you both, is that okay?"

Fred heaved a long deep sigh and nodded his head.

"Okay, mom," with that he left
