"Maybe the full moon thing doesn't work on you, which is why you didn't shift into a wolf last night," Lucian suggested.

"Yeah… maybe. You should worry about not shifting into a wolf, Skylight. What's important is knowing how to be stable when you snap," Raven said, rubbing my shoulders.

"Exactly." Thorne nodded in agreement. "That's what I keep telling her, but she won't listen."

After I didn't transform into a wolf last night, I had been worried about it, wondering why I wasn't like the rest of the werewolves who had seen and gotten used to their wolves.

"What if I don't have a wolf?" I asked, letting my worries be known to them.
