On a beautiful morning, a day after I had taken her out on a date, we were having breakfast, Lessia sat as usual, just beside me when I noticed that she was looking paler than she usually was.

It felt like she was losing blood, she was skinnier, I hadn’t really taken note of the change, because I had been busy trying to find the person who had been following her, but there was an obvious difference in her weight.

"Is anything wrong, Lessia?" I asked, also noticing that she was barely touching her food.

As if she was lost in thought, she jolted up. Her eyes looking as wild as the summer sun.

"Uhm, I do not know," she breathed. She sounded really indeed tired, barely even able to say her words like they were heavy on her mouth and tongue. "I woke up with a little headache that's all. You ought not to worry my love."
