Freya’s POV

Today was the day and I felt completely unstoppable! Everything had been perfect from organising the decorations to the details on the wedding cake and, despite myself and the plans I knew were in place, I couldn't help but feel some excitment bubble up in my stomach. It was like a fairy tale. The girl gets the prince, becomes a princess and lives happily ever after! I was going to be a princess, and nothing was going to go wrong!

I was in the middle of having my wedding dress fitt

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 129

Alyssa’s POVThe second we realised what my father might have done to himself, we knew we had to research a way to reverse it and hopefully cure him. If all were going well, Vivian and Freya would still be out preparing for a royal visit for the next hour or two, and if Alexander could throw Freya off the scent if she came back early, we’d have extra time. Alexander went downstairs to keep an eye on the door whilst Nolan, Kai and I headed to my father’s library. My father kept a collection of books, particularly those related to our history. He liked to be informed about the Pack, the kingdom and our family. That interest might save his life. The books I wanted to look for were most likely in his office; he would’ve kept them close to him, safe, since they might’ve been filled with sensitive information about the family. So, quickly, we headed towards the study. The door was locked. Of course, the door was locked. My father’s body was found in his study. Vivian would want to keep it

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 128

Freya’s POV This was all so boring. It was like a pageant, but not a fun one. The parade of people was never-ending, and so were the fake tears that I had to endure. My mother had warned me that we would have to perform for a little while longer, but it was getting so annoying.Especially Caleb. My younger brother could not stop himself from crying, and it took everything within me not to constantly roll my eyes at his behaviour. As a future Alpha, he should’ve had more dignity. I didn’t cry that much when my own father died. When the main procession of the funeral had finished, we were sent word that the rest of the Royal Family would be visiting to share their condolences, so mother began preparations to welcome them. I went to help her, of course, anything to gain even more approval from the Luna Queen.I still hadn’t given up on Alexander, but my patience was wearing thin, and my pride wouldn’t allow itself to be rejected yet again. It wasn’t even the fact that I was in love wit

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 127

Alyssa’s POVI could barely comprehend what Nolan had said. Was it because I hadn’t heard it properly? Was it because I didn’t want to give myself that kind of hope? I saw his body! I’d said goodbye! What else was there? But even so, a tug at my heart, my soul, made me lift my head and take a step towards Nolan.“What… What are you saying, Nolan?”“Don’t give her hope if you have nothing to back it up with,” Kai stated harshly, glowering at the other Alpha.I understood his protection, that he didn’t want me to get hurt or to get my hopes up. But I put my hand out, silently asking him to stop as I looked Nolan in the eye.“Tell me everything you know or think.”“I would need to get a better look to be certain,” Nolan said carefully, once again, looking around him to make sure that no one was listening, “But based on what I’ve seen, it looks like it might be a curse. If Alpha Henry knew that danger was coming, he might have placed it on himself as a… protection? I’ve done a lot of rese

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 126

Alexander’s POVKai and I took our places at the front of the funeral procession that would carry Alpha Henry to his final resting place as our wolves followed at our side. As the highest-ranking wolves in the territory, we showed our respect by taking part in the funeral. Other Alphas had come to pay their respects and show their support to the Snow family:Alpha Thomas and his son, Taylor Ares of the Fire Bone Pack. Alpha Nolan of the Star Forest Pack.Alpha Evan and his Beta.As well as other Alphas from the minor packs. It made me feel a bit guilty that I didn’t know all of their names.I caught Alpha Thomas’s eye, and though he wouldn’t dare to disrespect me in front of the other Packs, it didn’t stop him from finding Alyssa and shooting daggers at her with his eyes and growling. The humiliation of his son at the trial and in the Colosseum hadn’t been forgotten.A snarl from my left, from Kai, caught my attention, and it seemed that he had noticed the same thing I had. His snar

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 125

Kai’s POVThe funeral took place quite quickly as preparations began, and within two days of examining Alpha Henry’s body with Alyssa, Alphas from all over came to the Ice Heart Pack to pay their respects. As the princes, we were given special accommodation from Vivian, representatives of the Crown, so she couldn’t make us leave even if she wanted to. It didn’t stop her from making it exceedingly clear that she despised both my brother and me. She attempted to have Alyssa removed from the territory. I made it clear that if Alyssa was forced to leave, my fiancé, who was recognised by the Crown, would be shed.“Attack my Pack, General, and I will ensure the Ice Heart and Fire Bone Pack will wage war on you personally.”She said this, hidden behind multiple guards, as if that would possibly stop me. I didn’t have to yell or scream. I simply stated with a grin on my face, “You can go ahead and fucking try.”Whether she was tempted to test me on whether I was bluffing or not (I wasn’t), s

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 124

Alyssa’s POV It was him, alright. I didn’t want to believe it. I wanted to convince myself that it was some kind of trick, that at the very worst, it was a prank of sorts, a deception to convince me to leave and never come back. But no… That was my father lying on his bed, cold and stiff as if he’d been dead for days.“What happened?” I asked, my voice shaky and timid as I crept towards him, like he would wake up with just one sound.“A heart attack,” Vivian said simply, crossing her arms with disdain, “The healers said it may have been from the stress of the wedding.”Every eye in the room, aside from mine and Kai’s, turned to Alexander, accusation and rage in their eyes. The prince who jilted the Alpha’s daughter at the altar, the prince who had been playing with both of the Alpha’s daughters for months now, the prince who kept fucking things up for everyone else around him.“You mean to say-“ Alexander started.“That you’re responsible for my Alpha’s death?” Vivian interrupted him

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 123

Alyssa’s POVThere was really no point in us getting back to the palace, on our way there, we heard rumours that Alexander had run away and we met him on the road back to my pack.A lot had happened, he told us, but it was hard to forgive him after everything. It was hard for Kai to even look at hi

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 122

Vivian’s POVIf one more thing went wrong today, I was personally going to see to it that the Moon Goddess paid. Maybe it was unlucky to curse the Moon Goddess, but I was beyond caring at this point. Respecting her had only caused so many problems, so I didn’t see an issue in not minding her at tha

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 121

Henry’S POVIt didn’t take us long to return to the Pack. Word hadn’t reached the rest of them that the wedding between Alexander and Freya hadn’t gone to plan, so there were celebrations as we returned, flowers and rice being thrown onto the carriage, and everyone bowing and smiling as we passed.

  • Torn Between The Alpha Princes   Chapter 120

Vivian’s POVIt was going perfectly, but the little shit had to fuck everything up! My daughter was looking beautiful, looking every bit the princess that she was, and we were one step closer to reaching our goal. All it would’ve taken were two little words, ‘I swear’, and everything would’ve gone
