Ella's POV

We settled into our seats on the plane, Jayden, sitting close to me, made an effort to engage in small conversation, his words laced with genuine concern. I could feel his presence, his warmth, and it brought a sense of comfort amidst the confusion that swirled within me.

I can't help but notice his attention was hundred percent towards me, engaging in small conversations now and then, his care and attention shining through every word and gesture he did. It was as if he was trying to prove his affection and showed that he cared for me just as much as Aiden did to make him jealous.

I let out a deep sigh resting my head on back on the seat, the competition between the two of them weighed heavily on my mind, now that I think about it, it started since from the moment we stepped out of the car at the airport to our time spent waiting in the place, and now on the plane, their actions seemed to scream that they were locked in a contest to show who cared for me the most.
