One

I woke up to the sound of gargling and guttural groans.

I sat up with a sitting, my senses going overdrive. I was in the locker. I had escaped to the locker because I absolutely hated calculus and I'd rather sleep or daydream about my future mate than sit for an hour in a class that I hated.

But now I couldn't daydream in peace because some students were making use of the locker room in that popular way students were notorious of.

I pushed myself off the chair that had been serving as my bed and I started to tiptoe to the door, wary of attracting the attention of the students that were making out. I was almost at the door when my clumsy self missed my footings and I landed on the floor with a loud thud.

I had to bite my lips to keep myself from screaming out loud at the searing pain that tore through my entire body and my head instantly whirled towards the direction of the couple to see if they'd been alerted of my presence.

My eyes met stormy grey ones as I came face to face with the wolf that was leaning against the wall with a female on her knees, mouth wrapped around his... You know what and head bobbling up and down

What the actual fuck?

I had to resist the urge to gag as my eyes trailed upward from the bobbling head to meet the stormy grey eyes still staring right at me.

Ewwww. I cringed under my breath but my wolf had other ideas because she swooned within me, her interest perking up at the sight before us and I almost rolled my eyes at her reactions.

What a thing to be swooning at.

"Get out." The icy cold voice that belonged to the devilishly handsome guy cut through my reverie and I snapped my head up to see him looking at me,  the corners of his lips curved into a cunny smirk and his eyes betraying the smirk because he was glaring at me as if I was filty and deserves to be in the trashcan.

As if my presence was irritating him.

And I'd have loved to lie and say that the look did not splitter my heart into pieces because even after four years of being at the receiving end of his taunts along with every other student of the school, I still haven't gotten used to it.

I still wished they'd treat me and the three other omegas differently but that had proven to be a wish that would never come true.

Wolf Academy was the school for the elites, a school for the alphas and betas and future lunas and it had been like that for years until the alpha of the Moon Shine Pack, the strongest pack in SilverCrest decided to introduce a special program that allows omegas and other wolves of lesser status to attend the school after passing a series of herculean tasks.

Tasks that no omega should even dream of taking but that was my only chance of attending Wolf Academy, that was my only chance of becoming something and doing something for myself.

And it was my only getaway from Aunty Lara, the devil's incarnate that was my mom's sister and who raised me right from when I lost my parents and her daughter, Michelle. The both of them had made life a living hell for me, treated me as their personal maid, treated me with scorn and disgust because I was an omega.

I needed to get away so I practised really hard, channeled my wolf's energy and focused on what we could really do, had lots of sleepless nights because I was always out practising and after doing my best at the rigorous tests, I passed.

I passed in flying colors and I became a student at the prestigious wolf academy while Michelle failed and was forced to continue her schooling at the local high school.

I was at the top of the world because I had made my dream into a reality except that the students at Wolf Academy weren't happy to have the order of things in their school disrupted. They didn't want an omega mixing with them and becoming part of them so they tried to ostracize me as much as possible, no one talked to me, they made me so miserable and alone but that was still better, the ones that didn't leave me alone made my life a living hell and the bot getting his dick sucked in front of me was the number person who did everything in his capacity to make my days here a living hell.

"I don't like repeating myself, omega," He commanded, injecting alpha command into his voice and I found myself staggering to my feet while the girl remained on her knees and sucking him away as if her life depended on it.

She did not even care that someone was watching her, that someone was in the room with them.

I cringed in disgust at the sight before bolting for the door and no sooner had I exited the room than I started to hear footsteps behind me.

I looked back to see stormy grey eyes right behind me, tucking his shirt in and doing his zippers. I frowned as he kept strolling casually towards me at the same time the door of the locker flung open and the girl the girl that had been on her knees stormed outside.

"You don't push a girl off you like that," The girl screamed, stopping not only me in my tracks but also stormy grey eyes and the few students in the hallway.

Everybody's mouth hung open at the sheer audacity. No one dared to scream at stormy grew eyes like that and it was either the girl had lost her mind or she was new to the order of things in Wolf Academy.

It was the latter, I realised this on a closer look at her. She was one of the two new students and she was the only one that had resumed. The school was still anticipating the arrival of the other one.

So she must have saw stormy grey eyes as an handsome dude she could get herself involved with not knowing that the guy was a devil in disguise.

Stormy grey eyes scoffed without turning back, eyes taking on that dangerous and mischievous glint that I was used to seeing in his eyes anything he was up to anything bad and I held my breath as the girl matched up to him and she got in front of him, hands perched dramatically on either sides of her waist.

"Where are your manners at?" She demanded, her tone icy cold, "Is that how you're supposed to treat a girl?"

"A girl?" Stormy grey eyes asked, his expression bored and eyes dry as he looked at the girl from head to toe as if she was as filty as the trashcan.

"Sorry but no sorry, you're hardly a girl." The girl took two mismatched steps back as if she had been slapped hard on the face while stormy grey eyes kept looking at her with that irritated look.

"Are you always this rude to girls after they suck you off?"

The smirk on his face deepened as he eyed her from head to toe, "Not like you were any good," He replied lazily as he shoved his hands into his pockets, "You use a lot of teeth, you'd have probably bitten me off if I didn't push away."

"Wh... What?" The girl stuttered and I could feel her embarrassment as the crowd in the hallway started to snicker among themselves.

Stormy grey eyes, satisfied that he had put her in his place, smirked down at her before he started to walk away, towards me and I willed myself to bolt, to walk away but my feet remained glued to that particular spot till he got to me.

Till he walked past me.

Only for him to stop and he looked back at me, eyes raking my entire body.

"Why are you standing there like a dummy?"

How's it any business of yours? Was on the tip my tongue to retort but I knew damn well that I wasn't allowed to. People of my kind weren't allowed to talk back to people of his kind.

"You really are a dummy, omega." He said the omega with so much disgust and hatred that it made my body crawl, made my wolf snarl within me.

But there was nothing I could do.

There was nothing we could do.

We both are just as helpless as possible when it comes to dealing with Alphas.

Especially Alphas like stormy grey eyes.

They hold the power. The hold the true power here.

He looked at me disdainfully for a while longer before he started to walk away, leaving me reeling with so much anger and frustration.

I was never truly going to belong here. No matter how hard I tried, I was never going to measure up to all the elite students that came from royalty.

I was never going to be more than an omega, the lowest of the low with nothing to boast for myself.
