Chapter 20 - The Preparation

War is never pretty.

It was something that my parents didn’t want because of the casualties that it brings. My father tried his best to make sure that our pack wouldn’t face it, the reason why the alliance was formed.

But the vampires were not included in that so-called alliance.

They never were.

My father was a great planner and a great strategist. This is why our pack is ready for a war that has been looming over us ever since we were born.

For humans, they believe that people like us only exist in books. What they failed to see is that those stories that they read in books are products of reality.

Except for some twisted truths.

Humans think that werewolves can only shift during a full moon. What they didn’t know is that we can shift anytime we want without the need for the full moon.

Yes, we are more powerful when the moon is full because it’s when the moon goddess is showering us with blessings. But the full moon does not restrict us from shifting.

Another thing
