Reya's POV.

We claimed the blackened wreckage of Black Hollow, and its moon was crimson.'

Ash blew across the clearing like scattered bones. Fires erupted from the distance where Dante's Death Pack had lodged. The entire place was surrounded by dust, blood, and battle-tested wolves. I didn't feel the smoke coming out of my eyes. Not now.

"I whispered, 'This is the limit of your time.” Or the commencement of a new phase."

The old Riverdale sigil was being held by Sebastian in the center behind me.

Alpha Tristan stood beside me, eyes fixed on the rogues and exiles who had been trailing us.

"There's no Alpha rule here, eh?" I quipped. "No council." No chains. No name until we give it one.

They waited. Watching. Breathing in sync. We were once again a fractious and furious group, but our hearts remained unbroken.

"My voice wails towards the heavens." We aren't Dante's wolves. We aren't anyone's. We're Lunaris."

An explosion broke through the clearing.’

Then another.

  • Torn From The Bond    Death Of A Brother

Sebastian’s POVThe sky bleeds. The Blood Moon hangs like a curse, full and red and humming with the promise of war. The air crackles. Lunaris is no longer silent. It thrums with howls, metal, and the scent of ash.I see the battlefield laid bare before me like a nightmare uncoiling. Dante’s forces flood the valley—feral wolves with hollow eyes, twisted by blood magic, their snarls inhuman. Undead. Cursed. This is no army. It’s death itself. And Reya? She stands at the front, hair wild, her eyes glowing with golden fire. Her voice carries power now—actual, bone-shattering, spirit-flaying power. When she speaks, wolves drop. When she screams, the cursed split apart mid-air.But even she cannot hold the line alone.“Hold formation!” I shout, slicing through two rogues that lunge at me. Blood coats my arms. My wolf claws just under the surface, but I can’t shift. Not yet. Not while strategy still matters more than brute strength.Alpha Tristan is beside me, a whirlwind of silver and fury

  • Torn From The Bond    Blood Moon Rises

Reya ‘s POVThe red moon hung low like a curse carved into the heavens.Every wolf in Lunaris stood frozen as the earth trembled. The blood moon—Dante’s signal. War had come.A sharp whistle sliced through the night air. My command.“Positions!” I roared, and hundreds of feet thundered across the field. “Hold the line!”Sebastian was already shifting, eyes flashing silver. “They’re coming from the East Ridge. At least three hundred, maybe more.”I caught his arm. “You lead the north flank. Alpha Tristan’s already at the gate.”He hesitated. “And you?”“I’ll be where I need to be.”He gave a sharp nod, then vanished into the darkness, his beast leaping ahead. The scent hit next—rot, ash, and rage. Not just wolves.Undead.“Spirits,” I muttered, drawing a deep breath. “He’s using blood magic.”The sky split open with a snarl as a wave of twisted wolves surged over the ridge—fangs too long, bones cracking through skin. Cursed.“SHIELDS!” I screamed. My warriors raised their barriers. Lig

  • Torn From The Bond    A Father's Plea

Tristan’s POVI climbed the spiral stairs before dawn, heart pounding like a storm churning behind my ribs. The air inside the Frostreach Caverns was still, but I knew she was inside—isolated, wreathed in power I had helped shatter and rebuild.when she was just Reya, a headstrong girl with moonlight in her voice. We trained under the Blood Moon, her eyes alight with dreams of freedom. And yet, even then, I’d been torn between her and the empire I thought I protected. Now, the empire I protected was her.At the top, she stood beneath the cracked altar, silver hair loose, framed in moonlight—even before the dawn broke. Her presence made the air shift. She was wild. Beautiful. Broken.“I told you not to come,” she said, voice low, almost vulnerable. Vulnerable. I swallowed. That word split me open.“I never should’ve left you,” I said, stepping closer, boots echoing on stone. “Not after the twins. Not after…”She stiffened. “Then don’t speak of it.”I stopped. Almost wanted to run back

  • Torn From The Bond    The Gathering Storm

Reya’s POVMoonlight shattered on the frozen ground—the ice littered with skeletal paws of undead wolves. They’d fallen once, but Dante’s necromantic blood magic had clawed them back, twisted them into forsaken revenants.Their eyes glowed obsidian, lifeless yet aware. They waited. For me.“Stand firm!” Alpha Tristan roared, steel singing in the air.Beside him, Sebastian spun, warding runes flickering from his silvered sword.“This is Dante’s horde,” Sebastian warned. “They’re fueled by death-bound wolves—half-blooded, half-undead.”I stepped forward; voice heavy. “Let them come.”A howl erupted—a chorus of death’s snarls. They charged.BattleSteel met bone.Alpha Tristan cleaved a skull. Sebastian severed a claw.I reached out, wolf form blazing, and blinded one—white-hot justice. But each fallen wolf rose again, shuddering with dark life.We faltered.I felt power, erupting. Raw. Uncontrolled. It burned through my veins and fused to my claws.I snarled—and the undead wolves recoil

  • Torn From The Bond    War Council Of Three

Reya’s POVThe war room trembled with tension the moment I stepped inside. The walls were lined with maps stained by soot and blood. Candles sputtered around the massive oak table, casting jagged shadows across Alpha Tristan and Sebastian, seated opposite me. No throne. No pomp. This council had been called for one reason: to decide Dante’s fate before the next Blood Moon.I slid into the center seat—my seat. My eyes flicked between them.Alpha Tristan spoke first, voice low. “We need intel. Dante’s fortress—where is it exactly?”Sebastian pushed a rune-stamped scroll toward me. “East of Black Hollow. Built on altar grounds. Vines and bones entwined in the walls. It’s alive.”Fear rippled through me at the word alive. But I closed my fists.“We assault?” Alpha Tristan asked.I met his eyes. “Not yet.”He blinked. “Then what?”“We infiltrate. We learn his power. And we choose our battlefield.” My finger tapped the map. “Here—in Lunaris’ dead forest. The ground is rooted in our blood.”

  • Torn From The Bond    Lycan Xander’s End

Reya's POV. Wind blew through the jagged Cliffs of Lunaris, a haunting dream to the unrelenting souls that danced beneath the surface of our empire.... At the edge of the obsidian courtyard, I stood beside my soldiers, my court, and the children I swore to protect. And then I felt it. The air snapped. Like a burst of anger and sadness infiltrating my consciousness. I muttered, "He's present." Upon seeing my friend, Alpha Tristan's head turned sharply. "Lycan Xander?"The alarms echoed again after another second, with the sound of blood pouring from the western ridge. The blades were already in Sebastian's hands. I didn't wait. Upon entering the gates, my silver-white wolf form moved forward as I washed away before me, and now my body is shattering with flesh. The moon's swelling and bruising caused it to cast long shadow over the cliffs.... He came out of hiding in those shadows.... Lycan Xander. Eyes bloodshot. Hair matted. Armor shredded. Nevertheless, the insanity emanat
