Reya's POV.

As the sun set below the horizon, tension in air was felt, and long shadows cast across the Lycan Kingdom.... The storm cloud was like a heavy raindrop on our faces, and I could feel the weight of it against Riverdale's very being.

The council of King Xander was called out, and I found myself standing beside him, my heart racing. Each of the kingdom's most influential leaders was seated in the room, shouldering the responsibility for all future decisions.

Xander's voice echoed through the chamber, "Riverdale has gone beyond their limits," and his words were spoken.

We need to be ready for war."

The room was filled with murmurs of agreement, but I could sense the tingling emotion of fear. War was never a simple choice, and the consequences would be far-reaching.

With a determined look, Xander turned to me and said, "I want you to lead our troops.". Your bravery and determination have earned you a spot on this team, as I trust you to be the right one. "

His words caught me off guard, but I nodded off as if he had never done anything to help. "I'll do everything in my power to defend our nation."

The meeting continued, leaving me with a sense of unease. Tristan and the ongoing tension between us that had been brewing for some time was suddenly on my mind. I sensed the weight of the damage caused to our bond.”

During my preparation for the next few days, I experienced a sudden bout of nausea later that night. I stumbled, using the edge of a table as my support. I was hit with a sharp pain in my head, and then my vision became blurry.

Xander's expression was filled with terror as he quickly approached me. "What the hell is happening here?

There's no answer, and I couldn't hold my head. "I can' hardly move."

"We must ensure that you reach the healers without delay," Xander whispered as he settled into a chair nearby.

Walking towards the infirmary, I couldn't help but wonder if my condition was becoming worse due to the broken mate-bond with Tristan. I felt a chill run down my spine from that thought.

"The healers examined me with grim eyes, not knowing if there was any physical illness present. Nevertheless, your symptoms indicate internal strife."

The mate-bond appeared to be missing from Xander's vision.

"The healer hesitated before nodding." Is it a possibility? If one party is unwilling to part with their soul mate, the consequences of a broken bond can be devastating.

I felt an outpouring of anger. "I will not let this flaw define me.". My realm demands my protection.

"We will find a way to assist you, Reya," Xander said softly. You are not the only one.

Despite the pain, I was still in bed that night and felt scared. My own body was betraying me as I was about to enter into a war with Riverdale. The only option left was for me to find a way to completely cut off Tristan's existence, or else I would lose everything.

I feel worse every day as war gets closer.’ The healers acknowledge that the shattered mate-bond with Tristan is poisoning me, and time is running out. Xander must confront Tristan and request his release from our relationship. Tristan declines, stating that he still loves me, and I must make a heartbreaking decision that could change the outcome of the impending war.

My mate-bond with Tristan was broken, and the memories and regrets formed new connections in me, like a chain. I felt an indelible pain all over my body, and the healers' remedies did not provide any relief.

"Xander was beside me, his unease not lost on me. "Reya, this is more than just an emotional issue." The breakage of the bond is being felt by your body. A way to cut it all down’

My head rested, my only response being, "This is a weakness, but I am not going to let it be." My realm demands my protection."

I remained determined, but the symptoms persisted. My chest was always in trouble, I felt faint and dizzy. Mate-bonds were a complex world, and the healers were at best clueless.

Xander requested his advice, asking: "We're trying to work out what this relationship is and how we can break it off without killing Reya."

An apologist stated. "There are ancient traditions, hazardous and uncertain.". But we can only hope to have them."

I felt a surge of energy as the preparations began.” I wouldn't fall under this bond." Not just for myself, but also for the future of our planet.

Legend has it that the exiled Luna remains with the pack of Lycan King Xander Mooncrest. Isaac, the Beta character in Riverdale, threatens to reveal the truth as Tristan is under growing pressure. As secrets become increasingly secretive, alliances are formed and a new potential confrontation arises.

At first, the rumors seemed to only intensify into whispers like the first drops of a storm. "We're Luna," they said, and "She's leading King Xander’s army."

Riverdale residents in Tristan's mind were filled with hopelessness as they denied. He was confronted by his Beta, Isaac, with fiery eyes. "The truth is rightfully the people." Is Reya alive?

Tristan's jaw clenched. "She'd disappeared."

Isaac approached. "Why is it said that she was leading troops under Xander's command?

Upon returning to the land of Xander, I trained with great intensity, pushing my body to its limits. I could not shake off the mate-bond with Tristan, who still had a faint pulse. I chose not to be defined by it.

I fought with Xander one evening and he stood there looking worried. "You are pushing yourself too far."

I let out sweat from my forehead. "I'm not ready for the challenge."

"For what? "

"For whatever comes next."

As tensions mount, Pearl and Luis, Reya's twins, begin to display distinct characteristics—indicative traits of their lineage.

Reya’s POV"Do it."My voice didn’t tremble. My hands didn’t shake. But deep inside, something primal writhed. The circle was drawn in my own blood—ancient symbols carved with a silver dagger on the forest floor. The trees held their breath. The wind refused to move. Even the moon watched in silence.Lydia stepped back, her hands soaked in runes and ash. "You understand what this means. Once done, there is no going back.""That’s the point."My heartbeat thundered. Not from fear, but anticipation. Freedom dangled on the edge of a blade."Begin," I said.Lydia's voice turned guttural, possessed. "By oath unbound, by bond undone, by moon forsaken and blood outrun—I summon the severance."I dropped to my knees inside the circle.Pain.Not physical, not yet. But my wolf howled the moment the spell brushed our shared soul."Reya, something's wrong," she whimpered. "He’s still inside us…his scent, his touch. We’re still bound!""Not for long."I reached into the satchel beside me and pulled

  • Torn From The Bond    Tristan Breaks

Tristan's POV"Rewind it again. Slower this time."The security room was ice-cold, but sweat clung to my skin. My jaw locked; fists clenched at my sides as I stared at the screen replaying the same ten seconds. Again. And again.Reya.The footage had been recovered from a rogue outpost—now a graveyard. Cameras cracked and bloodstained, but still functional enough to capture what I should never have seen.Her.A crimson blur ripped through the screen like divine fury. Eyes glowing molten gold. Her wolf form—towering, silver, and untethered—tore through men like paper. Her scream shattered the surveillance audio, but it wasn’t just rage.It was grief. She was there for a child. Our child."Sir," Beta Isaac said quietly. "That was a one-woman raid. No backup. She stormed a fortified rogue den alone."I turned slowly to him. My voice rasped. "She got Luis back?"Isaac nodded. "Every rogue inside was slaughtered. No survivors. They're calling her 'Blood Moon' now. Even the Lycan High Guard

Reya’s POV"I didn’t choose this war," I whispered as the weight of two kingdoms threatened to collapse on my shoulders, "but I’ll end it on my terms."The court was packed.Cameras hovered like vultures. Fae advisors stood stoic, Lycan generals loomed silent, and the crowd of both Mooncrest and Riverdale wolves—separated by invisible lines of hatred—buzzed with tension. And there they were.Lycan Xander of Mooncrest, my protector, my declared king, standing in full ceremonial armor, a golden crown woven with runes that pulsed with ancient power. Beside him, Alpha Tristan Price—my former mate, my past, my pain—radiating raw dominance, every inch of him carved in regret and unspoken fire.My twins, Pearl and Luis, sat behind me. Pearl's golden eyes glowed like Tristan’s. Luis tapped his claws nervously—claws that were far too advanced for his age.The court knew. They all knew. And so did the magic. It thrummed through the air, ready to snap. This wasn’t just a battle for territory. It

My bones cracked and reshaped, faster than a blink. Midnight fur, pulsing crimson streaks down my spine. My eyes flared white. The Blood Moon rose with me.The guards didn’t see me coming.I tore through the front gate like parchment. My claws sliced through armor, muscle, and bone. Screams echoed into the night. The rogues scattered like rats."IT'S HER! THE LUNA! THE BLOOD MOON!""SHOOT HER!"Arrows? Pitiful. They bounced off my hide like twigs. I leapt to the second level, grabbed a rogue by the throat, and slammed him into the wall hard enough to splinter itI let my claws do the talking.I exploded through the stone wall. Magic flared up around me, but I let it burn. My rage was hotter.Six guards. All armed."FIRE!"Silver rounds. They stung. I snarled, felt the poison coil in my veins—

Disguised herself as a medic. Slipped right past our guards.""No. No, no, NO!"The world tilted. My knees nearly buckled.I felt it. The bond. My connection to my son. Distant. • Torn From The Bond    Living Luna

Reya’s POV"It’s spreading like wildfire," Lydia muttered, her fingers twitching at the hilt of her dagger. "Three packs have already sent envoys to confirm the rumors."Rumors. Lies wrapped in truth, bleeding into every crevice of our world. The Luna who lived. The traitor. The ghost. Me.I stood at the center of the Lycan guard’s courtyard, my chest heaving with rage and confusion as warriors dropped to their knees before me. Recognition burned in their eyes—some in awe, others in fear.Xander’s voice cut through the air like a whip. "Get them up. We bow to no myths. We fight beside legends."But even his commanding tone couldn’t stamp out what had already taken root.My name.My title. My return."They know," I whispered, barely recognizing my own voice. "He knows."Xander gave me a grim look. "Tristan won’t let this stand."RIVERDALE PACK – TRISTAN"It’s a damn lie!"
