Call Me Sir

"Then why don't we start with you getting on your knees and begging?" The words immediately climbed up Erika's spine. She wasn't hearing it right, she thought, but the rigid expression on his face told a different story.

"Don't play around. I'm here.. I accept the offer.. so just tell me what to do," she said, trying to brush over the topic as quick as possible but he burst out into a mocking laughter. He tilted his head with disbelief and then stared back at her stupefied face.

"You've always had everything so easy, Ms Sterling, that you really have no idea how things work," Nigel's voice was harsh, striking at her naivety. He got up from his chair and turned to face her, dead serious now. "I'm sure I already made myself clear."

"I don't get it.. you can't make me do things for you.. you just can't..", Erika took a step back, startled by how unnerving this felt.

That seemed to set him off a little as he raised his hand and banged on his desk hard, making her flinch. He was not playing around, he meant every word.

"If you don't do it, I'll make sure you're back into the dumpster I found you in," he spoke and there was no reason not to believe him. Erika found herself thinking of how cold the night was on the footpath and how scared she felt. She had nowhere to go, no one to reach out to. The whole world was against her in a matter of hours and she wanted to change it.

More than that, she wanted revenge. Not from anyone else but the man standing right in front of her. The man who started everything and knew that ruining her life would only benefit him. He was the reason she was brought so low of a place in her life.  He owned all the blames.

Then did she really want to go back to being abandoned and dying with thousands of regrets about not getting a revenge or did she want to step on her last flame of self respect and beg to him for another chance.

"Get on your knees and crawl to me. Then beg me to let you stay here," he leaned a little sideways on the desk and waited for her to gather herself. "You have to be convincing and if you aren't, you're being taken away."

Erika could feel her breath shake with the resistance of trying not to humiliate herself any further. But if she's thrown out, she wouldn't be able to be near him anymore. Being away from Nigel Asher will only make it difficult for Erika to take her revenge.

She needed to keep him close, no matter how much degradation she has to face. Erika immediately switched her emotions off in order to be someone she wasn't.

"Sir..", she whispered out, making Nigel's brows shoot up with intrigue. She pushed her hair to the back and got down on a knee and then the other. Then she looked up at him. "..please."

She started moving towards him on her knees, a seductive but innocent look on her face that was looking for trouble. If Nigel was a perverted man who wanted to prey on a helpless girl, she was giving it to him. She was certain her act would be convincing enough for him to want to keep her close.

She stopped crawling like he wanted when she reached him. He looked down at her with a pitiful gaze but she maintained the lust in her eyes, trying to coax him into agreeing and making him fall into the biggest trap of his life.

"Please let me stay, I'm begging you sir. I have nowhere to go," she scooted closer to his feet as he stood over her, eyeing her every move. "I'll do whatever you want me to, any way you want to. I'll obey any demand you have, please give me a second change. I'll do it all, please."

She said, suppressing every urge she was getting to leave. She continued to give Nigel the eyes, trying to get a reaction out of him. He didn't even move. Erika started brainstorming about what else she should say at that point. Her face tilted down but that's when he leaned in, touching her chin and lifting her face up to meet his eyes. He had a kind of gaze in his eyes that made her feel insignificant and small.

"I don't know what gave you the impression that this would work on me. Because if you're pressing this character on yourself intentionally, I don't think I need to tell you how pathetic you look doing it," he said with his cutting tone and scorn in his eyes. Erika jolted a little, feeling her face burn with shame.

He was close to her face, reading every expression she tried to hide. He knew she was embarrassed, as she had calculated it wrong. Whatever he had in mind for her was not exactly perversion.

"You looked quite experienced with those eyes and words, are you used to begging people like this for what you want?" He asked in an unnerving tone and she was taken aback. She shoved his hand away and gave him a disgusted look.

"I am not a slut, don't ever talk to me like that," she shot back.

"I never said that. Maybe you just have a terrible personality if you think I brought you here to serve me sexually. There are worse hells than you can imagine," he crossed his hands across his chest and stepped away, irritation in his tone.

"I'm.. sorry," she said, stepping on her gut and trying not to listen to the words coming out of her mouth. "I.. need this deal. I have nowhere to be and I don't want to die. Please let me stay, I'll listen to you. I'll listen to any demand you have as long as it is within my boundaries. Give me this chance."

"So you can beg properly after all," he said with a smirk, turning back to look at her again. He couldn't stop grinning. "I bet it feels real good to plead to a man who has ruined your life altogether."

"Yes, you're right Nigel. It does feel good to be someone you just don't wanna let go of," she said, keeping a straight face, knowing she was walking on thin ice. He could have her removed any second. "Maybe you're just as weak too."

He walked over to her and crouched down to her level, tangling his fingers into her hair and grabbing a fistful. He pulled her hair back, making her wince.

"And maybe you should start calling me sir. I was liking the way it sounds," he chuckled a little with his evil gaze. "Say it, let me see you get used to it."

"No.."

"Don't you want me to keep you close?"

Erika closed her eyes with all emotions at once. She took a deep breath, feeling his curious stance looming over her.

"Sir.. please.."

Nigel Asher just stared at her for long seconds till his grip loosened on her hair. He moved away from her. He turned to his desk and picked up his phone to summon someone inside his study. Then he looked at Erika.

"Get up," he said. She realised he probably didn't want anyone else to doubt what he was trying to do with her. She stood up and the door opened behind her. She saw a bodyguard standing behind her, her heart sank. She got the flashbacks of being taken away and she got nervous immediately.

"Wait.. I can do better. I'll apologise better, I'll beg, just.. don't kick me out," Erika panicked and rushed to him, clinging her hands on his vest. He only looked surprised at her moves but didn't say anything. "Please.. sir.."

Nigel's lips turned into a vicious smirk and he pushed her hands away from him. He brushed his clothes and stepped away from her. He looked at the bodyguard waiting patiently.

"Take her," he commanded and the bodyguard stepped to her to take her away. Erika was distraught, knowing everything she did was all but a way of humiliating her move. He was never planning to give her another chance or to let her stay, he only wanted to make a bigger joke out of her.

Erika saw no other way but to comply, so she turned away to leave before the guard could physically restrain her.

"And you," Nigel called out to her. She reluctantly looked back at him, not looking for more berating. "Don't you dare touch me ever again."

Erika followed the black suit bodyguard through the huge corridors. He was leading her to the main door and was probably asked to leave her alone to decide her own fate. She was completely blank, not knowing what her next step would be.

She walked and walked till she reached the main door. To avoid the embarrassment, she started walking out of the door herself. She just wanted to leave and disappear, submitting to her fate.

"Hey, you," called out the bodyguard the moment she was about to step outside. "Where do you think you're going?"

"I.."

"From today, that door is your barrier. You're not allowed to leave anymore," the bodyguard commanded mercilessly, leaving her confused of what was going on. "Follow me."

"...Where are we going?" She mustered the confidence to ask that question. She was never that intimidated ever in her life, maybe because she had been the one to command all her life. And now she was there, helpless. Following through the story of someone else.

"Don't speak until you're asked to," he muttered out and started walking through another corridor that leads to a lesser amusing set of doors. She realised how empty it all looked, like there were no people around and it was abandoned. But she knew that wasn't possible.

In no way, not even for once did she get the feeling that things would be simple or better for her. It would only get worse.

And as if on command, the guard pushed the door open to one of the dingy rooms in the far corners of the mansion. The room looked stuffy and depressing, just like her state. Erika stared inside in horror, never expecting a room that looked like a jail cell to her compared to her own room back at her house.

"This is where you'll stay. No questions, no changes. If you can't live her, get out this instant," he said and turned away without waiting for her answer.

Erika saw her fate infront of her. No one cared, no one bothered anymore.

It was just her, this hellish mansion and the devil himself. Nigel Asher.
