XIII (C)

“Smart girl, I like it.” He cooed, whispering into my ear. 

I squeezed my eyes shut in despair. I did not know why this was happening to me. I did not know why this person was playing with me like this. I was scared, trembling. Yet he chose to harass me, ignoring the change in me, which was clear like a reflection in the mirror. 

His hand, which was clutching my mouth and nose, moved slightly down. He let me breathe through my nose and I was grateful for it. But not to him. 

“Now, tell me, Alessandra, why did you do that?” His whisper sent a chill down my spine. Even in this low voice, he was able to hold a threat in it. Like harmful smoke. 

But I could not understand him. What did I do? I was confused as hell.
