Jamie was not allowed to get any f*cking rest. A true tragedy. She got a nap, that was all she was allowed before it was apparently time to leave at the *ss crack of dawn. She was given consolation hugs by her parents. They managed to talk the other packs down into a meeting and trial, but that trial was in the morning. Watching her 'new pack alpha' interact with her parents while completely ignoring her made something bitter settle in the pit of Jamie's stomach, her teeth aching but, she just worked her jaw and tried to keep her temper under control.
