Katrina's POV

Adrian was the first to pull away.

"I should check on Leo," he said, his voice rough, like he'd been holding his breath. "Make sure he's still asleep."

I nodded.

I couldn't speak. My throat was too tight, and I wasn't sure now was the right time to curse him out.

He studied my face for some seconds, his hands still resting lightly on my arms.

"Are you okay?" He asked, almost like he could feel the difference in the way I looked at him.

I held back a laugh at the question, wonderin

  • Trading My Cheating Husband For My Best Friend's Husband    The Deal To Ruin Katrina For Good

Sarah's POVThe rain was colder than I'd expected. It soaked into my hair and stuck to my skin as I moved away from the cabin, keeping to the darker side of the building. The man turned when he heard me approach. He didn't look surprised, and that unsettled me almost instantly, because that'd mean he knew I'd seen him a long time ago."Who are you?" I demanded, crossing my arms to keep warmth to my chest. "And what are you doing here?"He said nothing. His gaze drifted past me toward the cabin. I followed it intentionally, feeling a knot of jealousy burn in my chest at the realisation."You're watching Katrina, aren't you?" His jaw tightened under the hood. It was a tiny movement, barely noticeable, but I saw it.A slow smile touched my lips. "So you are.""Should I be answering questions from someone I just met?" he asked. His voice was low, husky, almost swallowed by the rain. "You're the one standing outside someone's bedroom in the middle of the night. I think I'm entitled to as

  • Trading My Cheating Husband For My Best Friend's Husband    Katrina Has A Secret Admirer At Her Window!

Sarah’s POVThis bastard!I lay on the bed, trying to catch my breath while Christian stood beside me, already looking as if nothing had happened. That was what irritated me the most. One minute, he could make me feel like I was the only woman in the world. The next, he could look at me with those cold eyes and remind me exactly where I stood.I wanted to throw something at his head. No, scratch that. I wanted to throw the entire damn bed at him.I'd known the rules when I'd agreed to them, I wasn't stupid. I read every line, understood what was expected of me, and accepted the terms because, at the time, the benefits had seemed worth it.But I never thought he'd actually go this far.Christian had always been generous. He had given me opportunities I could only have dreamed of before meeting him. People who once ignored me now returned my calls. Doors opened. My career moved forward. Even the people who might have tried to take advantage of me thought twice because of the man whose

  • Trading My Cheating Husband For My Best Friend's Husband    Forget Cameras, Christian Has Sarah Bent Over!

Katrina's POV Christian. I saw Christian. My breath caught so sharply that my chest hurt. For one ridiculous minute, I forgot why I'd come there. He was standing behind Sarah, his shoulders tense and his expression so cold that I barely recognized him. The familiar teasing smile was nowhere to be seen. Neither was the warmth that sometimes slipped into his eyes when he looked at me.This man looked dangerous. He looked like a man who had reached the end of his patience. Then, I saw Sarah properly. She was bent over the edge of the bed, her hands gripping the sheets, a blindfold covering her eyes. Her hair was all over one shoulder, and her body tensed as Christian moved behind her.My mind went completely blank. What was I looking at?I stared, waiting for my brain to catch up with what my eyes were seeing. Then, my face went hot at the realization, and the wooden ornament nearly slipped out of my hand.I should have turned around immediately. I should have backed away, gone straigh

  • Trading My Cheating Husband For My Best Friend's Husband    Wait, I Think Sarah's In Trouble!

Katrina's POVI stopped so abruptly that I nearly slipped.Someone was there.I was certain of it.A shadow disappeared around the corner at the end of the hallway, so quickly that I barely had time to register it. For a moment, I stood frozen, staring at the empty space. My heart began pounding harder. The blood in my ears started to ring louder as adrenaline started pouring through my body.Who was that?I glanced behind me, then back at the corner."Hello?" I called softly, but I was met with silence.Of course there was no answer. Whoever it was already left a while ago, and I was standing in the hallway talking to myself like a crazy woman.I swallowed and took a cautious step forward.Maybe it was one of the security men. I mean, that would explain the footsteps I'd heard earlier.Except, if that were the case, why didn't they say anything?I took another step.Something about the whole situation felt wrong. I couldn't explain it, but the uneasy feeling I'd been trying to shake

He asked, almost like he could feel the difference in the way I looked at him.I held back a laugh at the question, wondering if I had an actual answer to that. Was I okay?I'd spent the last few days trapped in a cabin with my cheating husband and the man I was slowly losing control of my feelings for. I'd been accused, threatened, humiliated, and forced to pretend none of it bothered me.And now I was standing in a hallway, trying to understand why I'd allowed Adrian to hold me."I'm fine," I said, but the hitch on the tip of my tongue said otherwise. His eyes searched mine, narrowing a bit on the tight-lipped smil

  • Trading My Cheating Husband For My Best Friend's Husband    Katrina Isn't Mine, So Why Does It Hurt?

Christian’s POVSarah's arms slid around my neck before I could chase after Katrina. For a second, I stood there, staring at her, wondering what excuse she has to say now.I turned my face just in time for her lips to brush my cheek instead of my mouth."Sarah." I snapped. She ignored the warning in my voice. Her fingers tightened behind my neck, and she pressed herself against me as if she was worried I'll leave her alone."Don't do that," she whispered under her breath, batting her lashes at me."Do what?""Act like you don't want me." She pouted and reached again, but I caught her wrists and pulled her hands away firmly. She stumbled back half a step, staring at me with wide, offended eyes."What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked, my expression turning cold and disgusted. Her expression immediately shifted as she let out a bitter laugh. "What's wrong with me? "You're seriously asking me that?""Don't make me repeat myself.”"You!" She jabbed a finger into my chest. "You're what'
