"It all makes sense now, the hair, the purse, the wristwatch," I said looking at the item on my table. "I am going to kill that bastard."

"At some point, I was certain the bastard was dead," Axel said, his voice growing louder.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, memories flooding back to me. "I should have killed him a long time ago," I said, my voice shaking with anger.
