Mia

With a thundering heart, I stared at the sky high flames of fire that were surrounding the large ground in a circle. I recognized this place. This was familiar. All too familiar. But I could not put a finger on when and where I had seen it. It was like a lost memory at the tip of my mind.

“Mia?” Rake’s voice startled me.

I turned my head in his direction. He looked tired, his hair was a mess.

“What should I do?” I asked, filled with dread. How do you walk through hell fire alive?

There were warriors standing behind me who had tried to find any literal way to just get past this fire but the whole area was surrounded by fires that had no ending point in the sky. There were helicopters that were sent in to check if they can gain entry somehow but two of them already got burnt and fell down on the ground and one of them came down safely, defeated.
