LOGINAria arrived at Damien's Penthouse, an opulently decorated residence. She was astounded by the contemporary architectural design, which she had never seen before.
He led her into the building and took her directly to a room, “This would be your room.” he announced as he closed the door before them. Aria's gaze wandered across the room, which, unlike the one she shared with Lucas, was lovely and well decorated. Before she could say a word, Lucas was already in front of her. His gaze lingered on her brown, melting eyes, which defied innocence before shifting to her heart-shaped lips. He licked his lips, wanting to have a taste of the plumpness in hers. Aria, on the other hand, was stiffened. She was unable to move her body as he stood before her. With one hand, Damien raised her chin towards his face, making her close her eyes. He gazed at her attractiveness as she closed her eyes, one which had piqued his interest in her. He wondered why any man would reject her for another woman. “Your ex-husband must be so foolish to give away a pearl like you.” he whispered into her ear. Noticing her stiff body, he smirked, “According to the contract, you are expected to be submissive to me as your husband. But have no fear, my dear wife, by tomorrow it will be official and we will both have a nice time together.” he concluded and left the room. Aria shuddered. She did not remember reading that in the contract since she didn't really read it. She was so taken away by the prospect of ultimately having to revenge herself that she had no idea what she was signing up for. “Damn, I hate contracts,” was all she could say. *** As Damien walked out of Aria's room, he felt his phone buzz. He took it out of his pocket and frowned. Before he could take a step forward, his aide came rushing to him. “Speak!” Damien commanded. “I was ordered by Mr. Blackwood to send your pictures with Miss Camille Pierce to the press to confirm your relationship.” He tightened his jaws. His aide knows him better not to do things without his approval, even though it has been given by his father himself. “How dare he!” Damien thundered, “Don't you dare do anything! Tell Mr. Sebastian to get the car ready.” “But sir, it is late already.” Damien shot him a cold look, “It is none of your goddamn business!” *** The tyres of Damien's vehicle screeched as it neared the Blackwood's villa. After getting past the security, they were headed towards the main building. When they arrived, Damien got out and proceeded towards the house. He entered the living room to see his dad relaxed with a newspaper in hand. “I knew you would come right away.” the aged man said calmly as he flicked through the paper. “What kind of stunt are you trying to pull off?!” Damien demanded in a furious tone. Mr. Blackwood folded the newspaper and placed it on the table near him. He took a cigar from the same table and lit it, “You want one?” he asked, offering his son the pack. Damien scoffed, “Don't try to change the topic, Father.” The man gave a light laugh, “You seem to have forgotten our agreement.” “I haven't, actually, it is you who have gone beyond.” “Of course, that was an agreement but you have been so chill about it, and since I am getting old, I need to hasten things up between you and Miss Camille, since you haven't found a lady to marry.” “Well, newsflash father, I have found a lady I want to marry and I hope you will soon stop all this childish ruckus.” Damien said sternly. Mr. Blackwood was unmoved. His face held no expression. “Is she one of your numerous night-standers?” he asked. “No, she is not.” Mr. Blackwood exhaled some smoke and sighed deeply. “I don't care who it is you want to marry but the preparations between you and Miss Camille have been finalized.” Damien, who could no longer take it, became enraged. “You don't have the final say, father. I am going to marry who I want and nothing is going to stop me.” “Are you ready to make her pregnant within the next six months?” his father blurted out quickly. “What?!” “I will put whatever I have on hold and wait for the next six months. If your so-called wife-to-be does not get pregnant and gives birth to a child, you will have to get married to who I recommend to you and nothing and no one would go against me. Is that clear?” Mr Blackwood said. Six months! Damien repeated in his mind. How was he going to pull this off? The question taunted him. His thoughts returned to Aria; to him, it seemed practically impossible, plus he was used to having just one-night encounters with the females he met; now he is under pressure to get her pregnant! Damien wondered how Aria would take the news if he had to tell her. She would obviously ditch him, but a contract is a contract plus he did not want to get married to someone his father has chosen for him. Not even the daughter of a governor. “Still considering the offer, huh?” Mr. Blackwood puffed out some smoke from his mouth, “I knew it would be a tough one for you. I suppose that is totally beyond your abilities.” “I'll do it,” Damien said at last. One thing he loved was to prove his father wrong. His father's eyes widened. “What did you say? Are you certain you want to walk down this path?” “I will get her pregnant in six months after which you call off whatever preparation you have in store. Is that a deal?” Mr. Blackwood smiled. This was one of the reasons he loved his son. He makes the most difficult task look easy. “It is a deal then, Mr Damien.”“Schedule the meeting with my father.” Damien said as soon she saw Adrian. “Yes, sir.” the man said. All of a sudden he halted and turned, “make it today.”Adrian, who appeared shocked, only nodded and walked away. Then Damien took in a deep breath and went to prepare for the visit. He had made up his mind to settle everything with his father, even the matter that was of utmost concern to him.Perhaps he would also tell him about Aria and let everything else be. It was his decision, and he needed to make it known to his father. When he was ready, he approached Adrian, who was waiting by the car, and the two drove away.As they arrived at the mansion, Damien was first greeted by the fresh scent of flowers, another reminder of his mother. He sucked in his breath and walked into the house, to the living room, where his father was seated.“Hi, Damien. I see you have arrived.” Camille, whom Damien had not recognized at the opposite side of the room, said with a smile immediately he entere
Damien did not know what brought him to Aria's room. He just found himself there. She stood before him, her eyes shining in surprise at his intrusion.Damien was speechless, not that he did not know what to say, but because he was not sure if she would believe him if he said he came to see her.He had been resting for hours, but the thought of his mother had interrupted his rest. It had been triggered after thinking a lot about the family meeting his father had proposed. He could not get rid of the thought of his mother; it haunted him until he finally left his room. Damien could have gone to the rooftop to clear his head as usual, but instead he found himself walking towards Aria's room. When he got to the door, he had heard her giggle softly as she spoke. It was clear that she was on the phone. Was it Nicholas?Immediately he knocked, only to see her open the door with the least expression he had expected to see. He then looked down at her; she was dressed in a revealing silk gown,
“Sir, Mr. Blackwood has called to schedule a family dinner.” Mr. Adrian informed his boss. The young man gave him a glance before returning his attention to the documents.“I have no time to spare for a family meeting.” Damien said without looking up again.“However, sir, he stated that you should not object because it is mandatory.” Adrian pressed on.With a sigh, Damien supported his chin with his hands while resting his elbows on the desk. He was aware of the purpose of the supposed dinner. The same topic his father never forgets to remind him of.He was already tired of him bringing it up all the time, so he tried as much as he could to avoid meeting with him.“Just do as I say, Adrian.” Damien told him as he got back to his documents. The young man sighed and wondered how his boss could be so rigid towards his father. He knew Mr. Blackwood was not the type of man who would accept “no” as an answer, which made him even more concerned.“Are you having trouble comprehending what I j
Isabella sat in front of the mirror smearing a rosy lipstick on her lips while Lucas laid on the bed behind her, watching her doll herself up. His gaze was fixed on her lustful figure, which was barely concealed by the new lingerie she was wearing. After a while, he sat up, still not taking his eyes off her.“Where are you off to?” he finally asked after much contemplation.“To see a friend.” she blurted nonchalantly.“A friend?” he asked with surprise. They had just had a good time, so he was not expecting her to leave anytime soon. She was supposed to be with him in bed, lying between his arms while he snuck his nose in her hair. But here she was, getting ready to meet a friend.Isabella turned to face him with a slightly annoyed expression.“What do you mean by that?” She questioned, “that I cannot go to see my friend? Or that I don't have one?”“Don't put words in my mouth. I am only surprised that you have to see this friend–by this time.”Isabella's expression abruptly changed t
It was five minutes into lunch time when Aria heard a knock on her desk. She looked up quickly from her system to see a pair of smiling eyes staring back at her.She returned his smile, averted her gaze to the computer, and began typing.“Can I help?” Nicholas asked as he pulled a chair closer to hers.“Uh, no. I am almost done. I just need to save this.” she rambled.Nicholas chuckled at her behaviour and shrugged, waiting for her to finish.A few minutes later, she sat up and looked at him. “I am done. Told you it won't take long.”“Yeah. Right.” He then bowed and gestured the way for her, “this way, ma'am. We still have minutes left for lunch.”Soon, they arrived at the upscale restaurant not far from the workplace and took their seats at the window side that overlooked the road. Aria glanced around nervously as if she was searching for someone. She wondered if Damien had put someone on her tail like before. Maybe the person was probably keeping an eye on her, wanting to capture
Damien was seated in his office when he heard a knock on the door. He lifted his eyes to the door, wondering who it was that was causing an intrusion to his work.“Come in,” he said after a few moments of trying to figure out who it was. When the door opened, a figure stepped in slowly and paused a few inches away.“Surprised?” Camille asked as she opened her hands and posed sexually before him.Damien rolled his eyes and slowly put his pen down. Then he looked up to her with no interest as she approached him.“What do you want?” Damien questioned with a stern tone.Camille smiled and sat in the chair across from him. She lifted her hands and placed them on his, caressing it gently. On seeing this, Damien quickly redrew his hands, a disgusted look boldly written on his face.“You have not answered me.” Damien said with a cold tone.Camille did not flinch; instead, she leaned back in her chair, folded her legs, and darted her eyes around.“I came to see you,” she said, lowering her gaz
