Chapter 65

The car Bryan was driving was traveling quickly through the deserted streets. The night drew in; Bryan's life was going nowhere, but the problems were not going away.

He thought for a moment he could enjoy his and Shienna's time together, but the opposite was true. Too much drama got in the way and took away from his time with his wife.

Could this all be atonement for their past sins so that God would not send help to them and let them continue to fall into trouble?

Shienna and Bryan rushed into a building and met Edward, who was already in a cell. In a matter of days, the police managed to find out who the mysterious shooter was, which left Jun dying in the hospital.

"Ed, how are you?" Bryan asked, still looking pale, but he couldn't let his best friend be in trouble.

"You don't have to worry, buddy. I'm fine. Go home and get some rest." Edward then turned to Jennifer, who sat huddled in front of Edward's cell. "You too, Jennie. You're pregnant, so don't think too much. Go home.
