Chapter 5. Lust that Converges

Shada gaped to see that her cell phone was already in Demian's hands. Although she didn't read it carefully, she was able to catch a glimpse of who had called her.

"Hello, Sweetheart. I'm in front of your home right now."

Shada was stunned, then quickly grabbed her cell phone back, before Demian answered her call.

"He-hello, Max." Shada replied with a trembling voice. It couldn't be like this, she had to quickly hide the nervousness she was feeling. She must be able to.

"Honey, can you hear me? I'm already in front of your house. Can I come straight in? Or will you open the door for me?" Max's insistence further confused Shada.

How is this? She thought quickly. While in here, in her room, there was still a man she didn't recognize.

Even though it's not a human, Max, who is a normal man, must be very angry with Shada. To make matters worse, this should not derail their wedding plans. Now he was staring at Demian who was already bright red.

"Wait a minute, Max. I'm going out," was Shada's quick reply, unsure of what to do first.

Should she kick Demian out? Or just hide him temporarily? Either way, both options would still make Demian's temper explode.

In fact, Shada didn't even know who exactly was the person she was dealing with now. Perhaps she and Max had been killed by this creature. She was very worried.

"Why, what are you doing at this time of night? Don't be long, it's cold outside." Max chuckled across the phone. Max had glanced at the balcony of Shada's room next to his house, it was obvious that the door was open tonight.

Shada didn't know what excuse to give Max to make him believe her. She was annoyed with Max, who she thought was deliberately stalling for time. Shada wanted to hang up immediately, afraid that Demian would accidentally make a sound.

"I'm getting dressed, Max. I just finished showering," she lied, wanting to end the call immediately.

Max chuckled again, "I'd love it if I could come into the room right now, Sweetie." Max teased, bringing out the red tinge on Shada's cheeks.

"N-no, wait five minutes. Okay? I'll speed it up. Bye, Max!" Shada then immediately hung up the phone.

She then looked at Demian. She saw that Demian was now looking at her too. Shada accidentally saw a flash of anger in the man's sharp black eyes. Shada immediately averted her gaze, unable to meet Demian's beady eyes any longer.

"Demian, I'm sorry, can you leave here?" pleaded Shada, now she was very scared. She was not ready to die being stabbed by this man in front of her.

"Are you kicking me out?" Demian's heavy voice disturbed Shada.

Shada was at a loss for what to say. As much as possible, she had to clear this up in less than 5 minutes, because Max was waiting for her.

"No, no, no. That's not it, Demian. You know that if you stay here─"

"You think I'm that easy?" Demian quickly cut off Shada's description with a smirk.

This time Shada looked at Demian's face again, exploring the disappointed streaks on Demian's face. Shada felt guilty, but this was very urgent.

"Please, you can come again tonight. It's very urgent." Shada pleaded, putting her palms together in front of Demian. She was very afraid of being killed suddenly. She was even willing to prostrate herself at his feet for the safety of her life. But, Shada would not do that now.

"Then, you think I want to?" Demian chuckled, he smiled wryly again.

Seeing Demian like this made her shudder in horror. He looked handsome yet terrifying. Too bad, now was not the right time to question who Demian really was.

"Alright, I'm going. Oh yeah, your boyfriend or that friend of yours, or whatever. He's just here to check up on you." Demian squeaked with another piercing look. He then walked very fast, more than fast, like super strength.

Demian reached the lip of the door, then jumped away with the darkness of the night. Shada blinked her eyes quickly. She was dumbfounded by what she had just seen. Apparently, Demian had no intention of killing her.

Even though she was very scared.

After that, Shada immediately grabbed a knit outer to warm up her body, because she was currently only wearing a tight t-shirt and shorts.

She ran down the stairs, strode forward and opened the door for Max.

"Hi, Max." Shada greeted as soon as she saw Max's muscular back. Max turned his head and smiled at Shada. He was wearing a navy polo shirt, which fit well and clung to his six-pack body.

His blue eyes looked at Shada. "Hi, honey. Sorry, I came here because I missed you so much." Max said and grabbed Shada's slim waist, hugging her. Shada returned Max's hug that the man wrapped around her.

Shada returned Max's hug that the man had wrapped around her. She smiled as she gently rubbed Max's back.

"I miss you too, Baby." Shada realized how much she missed Max all this time. Even though they meet every day, Max is always busy with his work. To the point that there is no special time for Shada like this.

Shada suddenly remembered what Demian had said earlier. Max is here to check on her? What does that mean? A fine frown appeared on her forehead, she then released her hug.

"Max, we can continue inside. It's cold outside," Shada shuddered at the wind that gently brushed against her. She hugged herself to prevent the cold night from penetrating through the knitted outerwear.

Shada and Max finally entered the living room which made their bodies warm again. Max then sat himself on the sofa, his eyes carefully exploring every corner of Shada's room. Just like before, loneliness always overshadowed this place, where Shada lived. He thought.

Max gasped and realized that he should have more time for Shada. He didn't want her to hang out too much with loneliness. He felt very guilty.

"What would you like to drink, Max?" asked Shada, taking off her outerwear and standing up.

Shada headed to the kitchen to pass Max. But while walking and not being careful, Shada's foot caught on one corner of the table leg.

Shada staggered forward. A second later Max's agile hand pulled Shada into his arms. The incident was so fast that it spurred the heartbeat of both of them.

Now Shada was on top of Max, her breathing rushed in rhythm with the pounding in her chest. Likewise Max, he seemed to be trying to catch his breath.

"Just stay with me, I'm here. Don't go anywhere." Max pleaded looking into his lover's face.

Their eyes glowed with each other. Shada's body rested on Max's body, she moaned strangely. Max held Shada's face gently and kissed her pink lips. They reciprocate each other in the same passion.

Their kiss deepens, both of them seem to be breathing harder. Then Max's burly hands gently traced Shada's body. He started from Shada's buttocks, then stroked upwards. His hands went inside Shada's tight T-shirt, gently stroking her bare back.

Not stopping there, his hands then actively tried to touch both of Shada's breasts. Max suddenly wanted more. So, he quickly carried Shada to the room.

Their passion and desire merged until they didn't realize a pair of eyes were watching them, clenching strong fists at their sides.
