My forehead creased. “D-Do I know you?”
This man didn’t let go of my arm as he moved his face closer to mine, which caught me off-guard. W-What’s going on? Who’s this person? “P-Please let me go!” I unintentionally raised my voice because of how scared I was with this unknown man still holding my arm.
It was too fast, but all I knew was Ezra pulled me away from the man, and he hid me behind his back. How did he get here that quick? “Is there a problem here? Do you know him, Alexis?”
I shook my head as I still could feel fear enveloping my whole body. The grasp of that man on my arm left a visible bruise. But what I can’t understand is why someone would pull my arm like that?
