Chapter 56 - New Captain and a New Team

After Dwight said that, all eyes went in Ezra's direction. So the second years have decided already? Even though everyone agreed with what Dwight said, coach Alfred hesitated as he watched Ezra's expression. He must be on edge because Ezra just came back, and he's already being slapped by that information. 

The coach might have thought that this was too fast, and Ezra might run away again. That's what I also thought before Ezra and I met on the rooftop. 

With the unwanted attention, Ezra stood up from sitting on the floor. "I don't think I'm good enough for that position." He said, which didn't surprise everyone. 

Ezra's a happy-go-lucky guy and free-spirited, which is why I don't think he suits the position as the team captain either. That was if we're not going to mention the fact that he's the best player in our team, and his plays could lead the team on its own.
