Chapter 64 - Comfort

“Shall we go now?”

I nodded as Lean opened the van’s door, making me go inside. Kim wasn’t available for today since it was too sudden and she had other works to do. Along with being my manager, she also works for Lean’s fashion shop, which is also DIAMOND, where they sell their newest designs of clothing, shoes, and accessories. 

“You can take a nap if you want. I’ll wake you up as soon as we arrive.”

I accepted that and closed my eyes to take some rest. My work hasn’t even started yet, but why do I feel exhausted? As if something’s pulling my energy out of my body. 

I shouldn’t feel like this; Lia should become everyone’s ray of sunshine, and that won’t happen if I look tired. Lia’s the reason some other people are still holding on with their life, and I belong to those people. 

“Ion— I mean Lia, we’re here.”
