The Breaking Point

Ladina

The basement air was freezing, but seeing the cut wires made me feel even colder.

"We can't stay down here," Oliver said. His voice was calm.

Gabriel didn't answer right away. He stared at the broken phone cable with a tight jaw. "Someone is playing a cruel game," he finally said. He looked at me, his gray eyes softening when he saw my pale face. "And we will freeze to death if we don't move now."

"Go where?" I whispered. I wrapped the blanket tighter around me to stop my hands from shaking. "The heater is broken, Gabriel. The house is mostly glass. It's like a giant ice box."

"My room," Oliver said, turning to go out of the basement. "It is in the middle of the second floor. It has thick curtains and small windows. It will stay warmer than the rest of the house."

I didn't want to go with them. I wanted to hide until the storm passed. But I shivered so hard my teeth chattered. If I slept in the guest room alone, I might not survive the night.

"Come on, Ladina," Gabriel said softly. He stepped close and held my arm. His grip was firm but gentle. He led me up the stairs and away from the scary basement.

The house was no longer quiet. The snowstorm howled against the large windows, shaking the frames like a monster trying to get inside.

We went into Oliver's room. It was completely dark until Gabriel put the flashlight on the dresser. He pointed it at the ceiling to give us some light. In the middle of the room was a huge bed covered in thick fur blankets.

"Take off your clothes," Oliver said quietly.

I froze in shock. "What?"

Oliver looked at me calmly. He was already taking off his heavy sweater. "Your coat and sweater are wet from the snow. If you wear wet clothes under the blankets, you will freeze. Body heat is the only way to stay warm now. Let us help you."

"I... I can do it," I whispered.

Gabriel stepped toward me slowly so he wouldn't scare me. "Let me," he said softly. He carefully unbuttoned my coat and slid it off my shoulders. Then, he gently helped me take off my wet sweater.

The cold air hit my skin, and I gasped. I shivered hard in just my thin shirt and leggings.

"Get in bed, Dina," Oliver said, pulling back the heavy blankets.

I climbed onto the bed and moved to the middle. I pulled the thick blankets up to my chin. The sheets were freezing. I curled up in a tight ball.

A moment later, Oliver got into bed on my left side. Then, Gabriel climbed in on my right.

I was between them, but they gave me space. They were very gentle, which surprised me.

"You're shaking so much," Oliver whispered in the dark. He moved closer slowly, giving me a chance to pull away. When I didn't move, he put his warm arm around my waist. He pulled my back against his chest. His body heat warmed me instantly.

"Relax," Oliver whispered, his lips brushing the back of my neck. "Just let the warmth help you. We've got you."

Gabriel moved closer on my other side, just as carefully. He put his arm around me, pulling me tight against his chest. His touch was warm and made me feel safe.

"You're safe," Gabriel whispered softly. He rubbed my shoulder to warm me up. "I know you're scared. Just breathe, little sister."

For a long time, we only heard the wind outside and our breathing. Slowly, my shivering stopped under the thick blankets. My cold skin began to warm up from their bodies pressing against mine.

I could feel Gabriel holding me in front and Oliver's hand resting on my stomach from behind. My fear of the cold was fading. But I started to feel a deep attraction to them.

The mood in the bed changed. We weren't just trying to survive anymore. We were being drawn to each other.

I turned my head and looked up at Gabriel in the low light. His gray eyes were soft and full of affection. That scared me more than his anger ever did.

"Gabriel..." I whispered.

"I know," he answered softly.

He didn't rush. He held my cheek with his warm hand, gently touching my lower lip. When he leaned down, his kiss was slow and sweet. It wasn't forceful; it felt like he was asking for permission.

I sighed and kissed him back. The kiss grew deeper, melting away all my defenses.

Behind me, Oliver let out a soft sigh. He kissed my shoulder and my neck, making me gasp and lean back into him. His hand moved slowly up my stomach, touching me with gentle care.

All our boundaries disappeared in the dark. There were no stepbrothers, no family rules. There was only their warmth, their hands, and my willingness to give in to my feelings.

Gabriel ran his fingers through my hair and kissed my jaw. Oliver hugged my waist tighter, pulling me fully into their warmth.

"Tell me to stop," one of them said.

I didn't.

"Go slow," I whispered, not sure who I was talking to.

"Slow," he agreed.

Oliver’s palm cupped my breast, and I moaned into Gabriel’s mouth. Oliver answered by rolling his fingers on my nipple, then replacing them with his mouth, sucking hard enough to make my hips quiver as I turned to him.

Gabriel pressed closer, the thick length of his cock sliding against my ass, spreading me open, teasing my clit until I was trembling between them.

“Please,” I whispered,

Gabriel shifted, rolling onto his back and pulling me half over him with his cock nudging an entrance. Oliver stayed behind with one hand still working in my clit. I sank down onto Gabriel in one slow, deliberate slide, the stretch stealing my breath. Oliver’s fingers never stopped moving.

When I was fully seated inside his cock,

Gabriel’s hands gripped my waist, and he started thrusting deep and out; after some time, he pulled out, and Oliver pushed into me from behind tighter and fuller; the pressure made me cry out.

They took turns. Gabriel thrust up into me while Oliver fucked me from behind. The cold outside ceased to exist. There was only the moaning sound of bodies, the creak of the old bed, and the sharp gasps and low groans that filled the small space.

Oliver kept whispering filthy encouragement into my ears while Gabriel’s thumb was on my clit, circling hard, and the orgasm tore through me so violently I shook.

Oliver followed first, burying himself deep and spilling inside me with a broken sound against my neck. Gabriel lasted a few more thrusts before he came hard.

Outside, the wind continued to scream, but inside the cabin the air slowly warmed from three bodies that had finally stopped pretending the heat between them was only a physical necessity.

No one spoke. The boundaries were gone. Whatever came next would have to be faced in the morning, for now we slept, tangled and sated, while the storm raged on.

Green, Yellow, RedLadina "Nobody should touch it," Oliver warned us.He was standing up high on the arm of the couch. He held his bright lantern in one hand. His face was only a few inches away from the ceiling beam. "If this camera is turned on, and we cover it up, the stranger might count that as destroying it," Oliver explained carefully. "You both read the typed page in the basement. They will punish us if we break the cameras. Gabe, please put the heavy iron poker down.""I am just holding it," Gabriel argued defensively."You are holding it like you want to smash something with it," Oliver pointed out.Gabriel did not put the heavy metal tool down, but he did not swing it, either. A small muscle twitched angrily in his jaw. "Is the camera turned on right now?" Gabriel asked.Oliver used his finger to trace the thin black wire. He followed it to where it disappeared right into the stone wall."No," Oliver answered. "The wire is cut completely clean, just like the wires in the

The Girl in the DrawingLadina "Gabriel. Gabriel, please wake up," I called out, panicking in the dark. Before his eyes even opened, his hand reached out and grabbed my wrist. He held it very hard. He was ready to protect me. Then, he blinked and saw my face in the dim light. His tight grip immediately went soft. "What is it?" he asked quickly. "What happened?""It is the study," I said. I was shaking so much that I could barely get the words out of my mouth. "The wooden door is wide open. The small stove is lit and burning. Somebody was just in there."He did not even pause to think. He was up on his feet before I could finish my sentence. He leaned over and woke his brother. Suddenly, all three of us were running down the hallway. Gabriel ran first, holding the iron poker in his hand. Oliver ran right behind him, carrying the bright lantern to light our way. I followed behind both of them, running only in my socks. The wooden floor was freezing against my feet. When we reached th

The Quiet Between TouchesLadina"We should just burn it," Gabriel said. His voice was full of anger. "We should burn the whole house. The walls, the floor, everything inside it.""And then where do we sleep?" Oliver asked. He did not even look up from the tin can of food he was opening. "Do we sleep outside in the freezing snow?"It was eight thirty in the morning, and nobody had touched their coffee yet. The typed piece of paper was on the kitchen counter. We all stared at it like it was a dangerous snake that might bite us. Tonight, leave the study door open. It was just a few short words. But I had read those words so many times that they did not even look like real words anymore. They just looked like a terrible promise."They just want to get a reaction out of us," Oliver said calmly. "That is all this game is about. They want to see what we will do.""Then I will show them exactly what I will do," Gabriel yelled. He slammed his fist down on the marble counter. He hit it so har

The Only Room Without EyesLadina "Tell me again there are no cameras in here," I whispered.Oliver held up a lantern in the small study. "Nothing," he said. "I searched twice. I even took the clock apart."Gabriel stood behind me. "I searched it a third time," he added. "I checked every floorboard."I believed them, but I was still terrified to walk in. We just wanted one room where the stranger couldn't watch us or tell us what to do.Finally, I stepped inside. Gabriel locked the door, and Oliver started a fire in the stove. Gabriel brought blankets and made a bed on the floor. We sat down together by the fire. "I keep thinking about the video," I said. I am so scared. "I feel completely lost. "I don't know who I am right now," I whispered.Oliver looked at me gently. "You don't have to know what to do all the time if you don't want us here. Just tell us what you want. We can stay, or we can leave."Gabriel agreed. They left the choice completely up to me."Stay," I told them. "Bot

Ladina The living room now felt incredibly dangerous. I stood perfectly still, staring at the tablet on the kitchen island. I couldn't stop reading the red words on the screen: I have hours of this video. Do exactly what I say, or I will send it to James.Gabriel lost his temper first. He slammed his iron poker onto the counter, right next to the tablet. "I'll kill them," he yelled. "I will hunt down whoever is doing this.""Gabe, stop," Oliver said calmly. He didn't grab a weapon. Instead, he stepped forward to look closely at the black-and-white video playing on the screen.I forced myself to look, too. The video showed the couch, the fireplace, and the blankets. It was from our first night without power, when the three of us had huddled together to stay warm and let our guard down."You can't hunt them, Gabriel," Oliver explained. "The video signal is very strong. That means the person has a power source hidden somewhere on the property. They didn't walk back out into the freezing

Ladina Before we could understand what was going on, the front door quickly opened and slammed shut like a gunshot. Nobody came inside. Someone had opened the door just long enough to let the snowy wind blow in and threw a small, black case onto the floor. Then, they locked the door again from the outside.I knew what this meant right away. The snowstorm wasn't what was keeping us trapped. Someone else was in control of the locks.Oliver walked over to the black case slowly. He bent down to look at it without touching it. Gabriel reacted differently. He walked over and kicked it hard. He started swearing loudly at the door, the ceiling, and whoever might be listening to us. He was incredibly angry. While the brothers argued, I turned and left to clear my head. I walked down the dark hallway, found the small closet under the stairs, and went inside.I tried to calm down by counting my breaths. About fifteen minutes later, the doorknob turned. Gabriel stood in the doorway holding a fl
