Chapter 012: The Cat is Out of the Bag

MAX POV

I watched Rose walk away with the child in her hand. A million thoughts raced through my head, as I tried to understand what had just happened.

I had been trying a new suit out when I had heard a cry of pain. I froze, hoping to be sure of what I heard. Being the man I was, I had many enemies, and they would do anything to harm me, so I had to make sure that it wasn’t a trap
