Mia POV
We are on our way to the courthouse. Kai and Patrick are both in suites. Ava and I both decided on a pencil skirt and a modest button blouse. We all are trying to put our best foot forward. There is no way that this will not go our way.
The bailiff comes out of the courtroom and calls out our case number. He ushers us inside. Just like we discussed Kai and Patrick go to sit in front while Ava and I sit in the gallery. The judge is already seated and waiting for us.
"This is a case between Kai Adams and the CPS. Lawyers, please state your cases." The judge announced without even looking up. Patrick stands up.
"Your honor my client Mr. Adams is the legal guardian of Liam White. He was removed from his sister's care without CPS informing my client. I have spoken to the CPS and they stated that Liam White was put in danger by his sister's job over a year ago, but Liam doesn't even stay with his sister Miss white."
