“Everything has been going well, Sir…including all of our plans…”.(Elijah)Elijah and the President casually talked with each others as they alight the Presidential SUV, on their way to leave the Aero port.“Also..Mina…is rare to see you here welcoming me back at the airport…”.(President Mies)“Well, I just happened to have so work in the Airport so I thought…hmm…why not I just tag along…so here I was..is everything okay back in Sunders City?..”.(Mina)“Hmm?…oh, it’s just fine…I just came back to speak a little bit with everyone before I go back there for the war…again…”.(President Mies)The tone of his talks seems a little bit down on the low, almost saying it like it was a hassle. Then again, no one can blame him for acting like this, after all he was in a war and in the middle of one. The motion in regards of treating the problematic prisoners of war, clearly a topic of distress to many, after all, these problematic people will be sold to the other nation as a way to punished them
“Master…does the method, seems a bit bitter to you?..”.(Mina)Being the wisest in emotional connection and matter, Mina carefully approach the subject, as Elijah sit at the side and stayed silence. She also knows when it comes to speaking of a sensitive matter, it best to leave it to Mina as she were the most suitable person to soothe anyone distress or pain.“It is….it weigh on me a little…but, at the end of the day…this method were the only way we can take…in these war…I wanted to spill less blood as possible..as we will have to rebuild that land to be apart of us….the people had to see our kindness and consideration in the time of harshness…where the usual people wouldn’t even show such things….I wanted from this very incident the people of Alemia can see us in a very positive light….I sure hope they would see it….as…those problematic bunch are just really the scummiest people I have ever seen…”.(President Mies)“...I am sure that they would realized that everything that you were d
Personally everything in regards of the war, has been a smooth sailing, if I were to just overlooked just how the issue with the entire campaign is that we have been doing everything faster than anticipated. I have been feeling like I am playing the game in a ‘Easy mode’ these entire time. Hence the problem is that we have been advancing far to fast, conquering and defeating enemies has been far too easy to the point that it enabled me to actually travel everywhere with ease and also restructuring the entire region at the same time.“Elijah…how about the support staff and labor that I asked been going on?…”.“Hmm?….everything has already en route, Master…I am sure that by Tomorrow…all 3 of the war front will have their support ready…and by the day after tomorrow..they will all be ready to start developing the entire region as we pleased and devised already….But, Sir…..it is really a shocked that it only took you 3 days to fully take controlled of the entire Eastern region….I believed
“You know….it has been quite sometime, since the 3 of us spend time together…like relaxing and stuff…wanna head for some tea and coffee time for a little bit?…I kinda want to see the city sight for a short while…”.“A short break?..”.(Elijah)“A short date?…Sure!….let’s go!…Let’s go to the Yggdrasil Cafe!…our little one has put quite a lot of effort on that cafe of hers….I wanted to see it for myself…”.(Mina)One could really see the difference of personality, from that short and simple suggestion of mine. But even so that does not matter much, as both of them were clearly loving it, it is understandable, after all, just like me, these 2 has been working hard on this side for quite some time now. And to be honest, just like me the only free time that they have in their days, at this wartime moment, is just the same as me, at night time when it was time to get some rest and sleep, other than it was a constant battle with work and papers.“Yggdrasil Cafe?…oh, that cafe that we owned….Di
“Yggdrasil Cafe?…oh, that cafe that we owned….Did Yggdrasil handle the one that were in the city?…”.Speaking about that Cafe, I now remember that Cafe, which is actually one of the many business that I personally owned and founded. It was a business that I copied from the famous chain coffee shop back on earth and down to the green color, but unlike on earth my version got Yggdrasil cute visage as the front logo, so it was quite cute, and also it has became quite famous. With the modern looks of the cafe interior and the outside looks, then paired with the very cheap price and very memorable logo and catchphrase, paired with the business model of that cafe that I copied back from earth. The Yggdrasil Cafe, has become one of the famous shop all over Aeternum, and also one of the top earner in my range of business that I owned or the Aeternum Royal Family owned. In New City alone, there were already 10 Cafe, and about 20 small shops set up all over the entire city.I know and remembere
Listening to Elijah, now my interest has pique, after all, Yggdrasil is my child, and knowing that she learned from me quite a lot, I wondered would she be able to copied my vision for the business as well, but perhaps I have to limit my expectation a little bit, after all she is still a child.“Okay…but you know, I kinda worried about her now…Yggdrasil tend to wanted to work..rather than play like any other child at her age….will she be fine?..”.(Mina)“.….She will be just fine….beside she asked for this herself….as a Princess of Aeternum, and also our daughter…she need to be challenged a little bit….we cannot coddled her all the time…”.(Elijah)“Really?…but still a balance must be there, Sis…”.(Mina)When it comes to parenting, each one carried their personality with them and tried to influence their child as they wanted. Whilst Elijah were strict with her style, Mina were much more loving and overtly pampering towards Yggdrasil, like this, it was more balanced, which is good for Yg
“Sir President, Madam’s…we have arrived…”.(Lieutenant Colonel Sareen)“Oh..thank you, Sareen…Ladies, Let’s go….”.As my SUV came to a stop, all the Secret Service agents, naturally did their duty first, by securing the perimeter and the threat assessment first. And only then will my car door be opened, and as always the person that opened the door, is Sareen, informing us that we have already arrived at the cafe. I come out first, then followed by Elijah and Mina, all 3 of us were still in our work uniform so we really stand out in the public compared to everyone else in our surrounding. As soon as we stepped out, there were already crowds forming right outside the perimeter of the shop and on the side walk, so instead we instantly became a spectacle to the public.“These people seems a bit too early to just comes and gather here…”.I can only smile and waved at the crowd that seems to me just magically multiply by the second as we were here.“The news of your arrival back, were publi
“The news of your arrival back, were publicized on the radio…so there were already a few gathered at the Airport…then I guess they followed us here….and also…this area are right next to the mall…this place is always congested with people…”.(Elijah)“That, Makes sense, I guess….”.What Elijah said does makes sense, then again, my popularity are no joke here in Aeternum. After all, celebrity are not yet being made, even the Radio Drama that I created were still in it’s earliest bud, I guess, after this war, perhaps I can the Aeternum entertainment program, just so this world will be more colorful. Then again, making an entertainment industry in these day and age, especially in the medieval times, is quite a precarious moves. In medieval times and in Fantasma age right now, Fame is a deadly thing, especially when the noble and strength base society were prominent. Let’s just say, people at this time and age, when there is something that are beautiful and famous, they can just easily beca
“That settles it,” said Queen Inariel. “I want one. No—two. One for me, and one for my heir.”There was laughter, yes—but beneath it, genuine interest and burning ambition. These weren’t simply rulers indulging in luxury. They were leaders who understood symbols. In their home countries, where roads were still dirt and carts still squeaked over stone, returning in a Presidential SUV would not merely signify alliance—it would inspire transformation. A visual cue to their people that change had come.Brogath turned to Cassana. “And how do we acquire these… symbols?”Cassana smiled. “Each vehicle is available through our UNA Government Procurement Program. With subsidies for infrastructure partners. If your country commits to hosting an AAM-supported maintenance center, we offer reduced fleet prices.”Prince Thelric’s eyes lit up. “So, we wouldn’t just buy cars. We could build an AAM branch?”“Exactly,” said Cassana. “It’s part of Aeternum’s development outreach.”The implications were e
Mrs. Jamey blinked. “Pardon?”The Queen’s proposal was gentle but clear. “Our kingdom—Lirya—is small, yes. But we have abundant cotton, some of the finest silk-spinning traditions in our mountain region, and a rising population of tailors looking for stable work. Nicole’s… would be cherished there.”It wasn’t long before other leaders joined the conversation. Prince Thelric spoke of his nation’s dye-producing forests. A dwarven delegate mentioned an offer to help forge enchanted weaving machines. Everyone wanted to be the first to secure Nicole’s expansion.Mr. Jamey chuckled, both overwhelmed and humbled. “We always thought expansion meant bigger cities in Aeternum. But… I suppose we’ve been looking too closely. Nicole’s could mean something far more if we carry her name into the world.”By the time the sun began to set, the Jameys had exchanged contact crystals with six different representatives. Nicole’s might soon go international. And Nicole’s was just the beginning. Across New C
“It is said that if knowledge was water,” said their guide, a half-elf librarian named Vestra, “then Aeternum’s library is the ocean.”In a grand central chamber, they passed under a dome showing a starmap that changed with real-time sky positions. Every known nation had a section—yes, even the smallest and poorest. Aeternum had made it a point of pride to gather the history of every people in the continent, even those now forgotten by time.“This is… our old crest,” Queen Inariel whispered, her fingertips trembling as she reached toward an illuminated tome. “From three centuries ago… when our land was still one forest, before the wars divided it…”“We thought this was lost,” murmured Thelric as he came upon a scroll written in his kingdom’s ancient language, long dead and unspoken.Their tour grew quiet. There was no mocking here, no pompous declarations of Aeternum’s superiority. Only quiet reverence. A nation this strong, this secure, chose to preserve—not dominate. It guarded the
A knock at the door interrupted the quiet hum.It was Director Kwak Lum, again dressed in his signature dark blue robes, his draconic features smiling as he entered.“Honored guests,” he said, bowing respectfully. “Allow me to welcome you, on behalf of the Aeternum Crown and President Mies Sai. You are the first stars to light the Summit’s sky, and we are honored by your presence.”The gathered leaders rose and bowed in return.“We will ensure your time here is not just comfortable,” Kwak Lum continued, “but fruitful. Tours of the city have been arranged. Economic delegates will arrive within days for pre-summit discussions. And the Four-Leaf’s hot springs are now fully prepared—though I dare say our chefs may be the true stars of the Resort.”Laughter rippled through the room.As Kwak Lum left, Queen Inariel turned to the others. “Let them come in airships. Let them come with fanfare and marching bands. We came with purpose.”“And humility,” Brogath added.“Let’s make sure the world
Ambassador Roland cleared his throat. “Director Kwak… if I may speak freely?”“Always, Ambassador Roland.”He stood, brushing a hand across his waistcoat. “We are humbled. To house our people in such a place… it is more than any of us expected. We… we feared being seen as the weaker voices among the UNA.”Kwak Lum’s smile broadened, his eyes gleaming like starlight. “We do not see you as weak. We see you as family.”The moment lingered in silence, the kind that needs no words. Roland sat down; cheeks slightly flushed but heart a little lighter.Outside, beyond the floor-to-ceiling window, the sprawling city continued its dance of preparation. Massive floral displays were being installed at the roundabout leading to the Summit Plaza. Colorful banners were raised in quick succession, displaying the names of each arriving nation. Already, the delegation from the Dukedom of Angela had arrived in a train of shimmering glass carriages. The Republic of Telvinia’s airship hovered just beyond
“Attention citizens of the Free Nation,” a cheerful voice echoed across cobblestone streets, “this is an international broadcast. In four weeks’, time, the UNA Summit will commence in New City, Aeternum. Thirty-one proud nations will stand together under one flag of progress, cooperation, and shared security. We celebrate an era of peace—an age of unity…”The words echoed like thunder in the council chamber.Outside, people paused to listen. While many among the elite scowled and turned away, others in the lower districts paused, curious. Some even smiled. The promise of unity, safety, and growth was seductive—especially to the common folk, burdened by Triangle Guild’s centuries of unchecked power and exorbitant fees.Kennedy noticed it. “Look at them… even our own people are considering it.”“They’re weak,” Carn muttered. “They don’t understand what’s at stake.”Alphonse’s brow furrowed. “Or maybe they do. Maybe they’re tired of being bled dry by guild taxes and levies. Aeternum gave
In New City, President Kaiser Mies Sai met with his advisors. The room buzzed with discussions about the upcoming summit and the potential threats from dissenting nations.Advisor Elena: "Mr. President, intelligence reports suggest increased propaganda from the Principality. They aim to discredit the summit and our initiatives."President Mies: "We anticipated resistance. Our focus remains on unity and progress. Let their words be drowned by the chorus of cooperation and shared prosperity."The President's resolve was clear. The UNA would not be deterred by the dissent of those clinging to outdated and oppressive ideologies. As the summit drew nearer, the world watched with bated breath. Supporters of the UNA saw it as a beacon of hope and collaboration, while detractors viewed it as a threat to their traditional power structures. In the Principality of Light, the Church intensified its rhetoric, urging its followers to resist the UNA's influence. Yet, whispers of dissent emerged even
The Ministry of Infrastructure has begun preparations to reroute major traffic corridors to accommodate the anticipated diplomatic convoys and foreign delegates. The Ministry of Culture is also curating a week-long cultural exposition to showcase Aeternum’s diversity and progress.President Mies’ spokesperson confirmed that multiple major policy announcements are expected during the summit’s plenary sessions, including topics rumored to include:Official designation of the Aeternum Credit as the UNA’s preferred trade currency. Establishment of the UNA Education Oversight Bureau. Expansion of continental transport infrastructure, and. Strengthened defense cooperation under UNA guidelinesNo foreign media has yet been granted interview access to the President ahead of the summit, but sources within the Black House suggest the upcoming event is being viewed as “a generational turning point.”"The world is watching. The people are ready. And in five weeks’ time, New City will become more
Aeternum would continue to offer education, security, and infrastructure assistance—but always in a way that ensured we maintained our lead.We would teach them how to build schools, but we would own the publishing rights to the most advanced textbooks. We would help them create local militias, but they would still call for Aeternum troops when true threats loomed. We would help them modernize, industrialize, prosper—but they would know, always know, that Aeternum had already blazed the trail further ahead. I didn’t want vassals. I wanted allies who could never quite catch up—because they didn’t need to. They needed us to lead.I rose from my chair and walked toward the window. New City stretched into the horizon, its shining towers and clean streets proof of what discipline and vision could achieve. If left alone, the world would fall back into darkness. If left to their own devices, these medieval kings and nobles would tear each other apart again. The future needed guardians. The U
