Chapter 31 - The change

Vasilios emerged from his tent after an hour. Rhiannon was in deep sleep, and he hoped she would sleep through the change.

"Your Highness, I am sorry for the earlier intrusion, I heard the howl, congratulations on your mating, hope you get blessed with many pups." Beta Lucas said.

Vasilios smiled at him," thanks Lucas, hopefully, she will experience her first turn soon."

Rhiannon slept through the entire day. Her body burning with fever. Vasilios, rubbed her palm, as Lucas brought some more water. He had stripped her naked and she was sweating so badly, he contemplated simply ducking her in the lake.

As the night approached, Rhiannon opened her eyes, her head felt like it weighed more than it should, but she forced herself to look up at Vasilios. He had a look of concern on her face. Rhiannon knew that the change was starting. She felt feverish and wanted to be out.

"I want to be out," she said.
