Chapter 13

ALEXANDER POV

I couldn't believe "Alicia did not even give me the chance to show her how I felt, to show her how I cared about her." She didn't even give me that chance. "And instead threw me out before I could even process what was going on." I stood in front of her door, watching, listening to her footsteps as she walked away from the door, my face still directly faced at the door. I turned around slowly, and for the first time, I was speechless, unable to move. I did not know what had gotten into me, but I still had to hold it in.

I stood there for a while trying to process everything. "I was just about to confess to her, and she pushed me away while still claiming that Claudia was all I needed." I couldn't believe this. I felt so frustrated, and I walked slowly into the our training room only to see Arnold and Adrian. They were already playing basketball as they looked at me and laughed.

"What exactly is your issue, Alexander? You are becoming more complicated than I expected."

"I thought we were triplets and we meant to do things together, but you are just suddenly acting differently."

Adrian said to me as I shrugged. "Nothing is wrong with me. I am really sorry for whatever misunderstanding I am causing. It's just that I don't know what has gotten into me, but I feel like my mate bond with Alicia is closer," I said to him as Arnold started laughing, laughing so hard that he fell to the ground and held his belly trying his best to hold his laughter.

I felt a bit scared thinking he was not pretending, only for him to finish laughing and stand up as he pointed to me. "You think you are the only one who feels particularly close with her now? It explains why you are always acting like she belongs to you alone. Just as much as you feel like sleeping with her, kissing her, we feel the same thing. We also feel like sealing the bond. Okay? We are just as much a wolf and just as much her mate as you are. You should never act special to her, I am telling you," he yelled at me as I shrugged.

I did not say anything and instead fell on the chair close by, staring at the ceiling. I was even too lost in thoughts to care about whatever Arnold was going to say or whatever questions Adrian was going to ask. I knew that both of them had already discussed how to make me talk about what was going on, and I guess they won. I thought to myself,

While hoping that Claudia would not be here any second because I know her." She was a fast walker despite the fact that she did everything with her heels.

Just then, Adrian pulled one of the chairs far away close by and sat down beside me, placing his hands on my lap. "Let's talk, Alexander. Let's talk about reality. You are acting like this is not reality and you don't know how the world is," Adrian said to me as I sat up. Arnold too joined in the discussion, and he just sat there looking at me and still looking very pissed and angry.

"What do you mean by I don't know what the world is? I fucking know what this world is about, okay? Is it my fault that I fell in like with my own mate? Is it a bad thing?" I yelled at Adrian as he raised his hands up and down.

"Relax, relax man. You don't have to panic. There is nothing to panic about. As much as you are unable to resist her, it also makes me go crazy. I go crazy for her. I wonder how we're going to continue living in the same house with her. But I don't have a choice. I find things to distract myself. But luckily for you, you already have something that distracts you directly. You have Claudia," Adrian said as I felt so pissed.

I looked at him, and the frown got even deeper. "Are you crazy? Do not call Claudia. You knew what she did. You know what she did to Alicia. I don't know why you guys continue to advise me to stay with Claudia despite the fact that you all know her character. I know she's one crazy that you shouldn't always be around," I said to him as he raised his hand again.

"No, do not attack us for something we don't know about. Claudia was just as good as Alicia is right now. In short, I felt like you were the luckiest man because you were able to stick with one woman. Not like us. We play about, playboys, womanizers, mostly Arnold. But you were able to keep her under your own arms, and I was glad of that only to see that Claudia is one crazy bitch too," Adrian continued as I shrugged.

"Just stop it already. Adrian, stop it. That's not what I came here for. Please, I did not come here to discuss Claudia or whatever. We are yet to find a solution. We are sitting together now to find a solution. What is the way out? How do we resist her? You know it is impossible and she cannot leave the house. She is our fucking stepsister. Where are we going to hide? Are we gonna move out of the house or what? Because her scent alone can kill someone," I said to Adrian as he placed his hands beneath his chin and slowly stroked it.

"I am wondering too, what can we possibly do? What can we possibly do? I don't know, it's complicated. But the only thing I would say is if we pretend to hate her, we will be able to keep ourselves away."

"Alex," Adrian said as I felt like he made things even worse. I groaned in frustration so loudly as I lay down back on the chair.

I see they are not seriously affected like me

"Alex," Arnold added as I looked at him then stood up angrily. "Can you stop this rubbish? What do you mean by we should hate her? We should hate our own stepsister? Do you know the kind of thing you are going to cause? I fucking tried to stay away from this girl for a few seconds and I could not do it. I felt like I was going to suffocate. I was going to die when we were in the same car. How do you expect me to cope? I cannot do it. I can't cope," I yelled angrily.

But just then I heard a loud scream, and instantly it got the attention of the three of us as we rushed out of the training room. We got to realize the scream was coming from Alicia's room as she yelled for help just as we raced quickly to open the door only to see it was Claudia and she had Alicia around her arms with a knife around her throat.
