Alicia's POV

It was Friday and the last day of the month!

All students assembled in the hall, waiting for Mrs. Smith to address us. She made an announcement in the public forum and instructed us to gather in this place, as there was an announcement.

“Why's Mrs. Smith delaying? I'm hungry,” A male complained.

“Shh, you have all the time in the world to fill your stomach,” A female answered, and the boy's face went red in anger.

“What do you know, huh?”

“Silence!” The vice Principal's voice sliced through the noise, and silence returned to the hall.

She was a lady in her late twenties, with black, luscious hair that was tied up and pinned in place with a Japanese hairpin.

Everyone's attention was fixed on her as she climbed the podium and stopped in front of us.

“Why's the ice reaper attending to us?’ One of the males whispered fiercely.

“I don't know,” The other answered with the same tone. “The issue must have reached her ears, and she has attended this meeting herself.
