Chapter 3: Put your phone down

*BOO TO THE FREAK THAT IS TRYING TO SEDUCE MY BOYFRIEND, ALICIA, YOU'RE RIDICULOUS*

That was imprinted in bold letters in a billboard like manner just in front of the school and I felt saliva dry out in my throat. Confusion set in as I peered at the picture that was set on the billboard and it was indeed me. That was freaking me!

“Huh?” I scoffed trying to make sense of this.

I hadn't even talked to a guy here in school and I was already being branded of seduction? How fun?

“Fucking slut.” Two girls hissed as they passed by me and I gritted my teeth, turning to stare at them in confusion.

“How desperate. You just started schooling here for goodness sake.” Another one scoffed passing by me and when I looked around, it seemed like everyone was whispering about me.

“Alicia, I know I told you that the Triple A were staring at you but that was a bold move you pulled there.” I heard Bella say with a disappointed look on her face when I turned to stare at her.

“What bold move?” I questioned and she raised a brow.

“Seriously? I'm not judging you but please don't play dumb with me.” Bella stated and I just couldn't get more confused.

“How are you enjoying your new found fame?” I heard that bullly call out from in front of me and I squinted my eyes for a bit in confusion before it suddenly clicked.

“Did you..did you do this?” I questioned and she stared at it like she was staring at something so ethereal.

“Does it not interested you? I'm sure it should.” She stated and I scoffed.

“You might want to lower your voice when you're talking to her. That's Claudia, the schools queen bee. She cancels you? You're cancelled. And oh, her father is an Alpha.” Bella whispered behind me and I shut my eyes a bit before opening it back to glare at her while trying not to grit my teeth.

Her father was an Alpha? That was her excuse for being so obnoxious? My father was an Alpha too before the cold hands of death snatched him away in a brutal war.

“The extent bullies would go just to feel validated is quite disturbing, I think you need therapy Claudia. I don't even know the fuck your boyfriend is, why would I want to seduce him?” I yelled and she grabbed my hair in a fist full.

“Besides, if your boyfriend could be that easily seduced, don't you need to put him on a leash so he doesn't disturb the rest of us here in the real world?” I questioned while she sent a slap to my face.

A little crowd had formed around us as she pushed me to the ground and faced the crowd.

“You guys, I found this little freak trying to seduce my boyfriend yesterday. Seriously, the school shouldn't be admitting such pretentious sluts, she should be on a pole instead practicing to be a stripper.” She yelled at the top of her voice and everyone cheered and jeered at me while some where recording on their phone.

Suddenly there was little riot coming from the front and the crowd scattered as they tried to make way.

“Triple A. Triple A.” That was the chants and I closed my eyes in exhaustion.

Okay, dear goddess, you can take me now.

“What's going on?” I heard Adrian question as he walked into the centre with the rest of his sibling and Claudia walked over to Alexander.

My goodness, did she see what happened in school yesterday? Is that what this is about?

“Just putting this little bitch in her place. It hasn't even up to 48 hours she's here and she's already causing trouble.” Claudia complained and I couldn't help but scrunch my face up as I stood up and grabbed my bag.

“What'd she do?” Adrian asked again, his voice was just a little hoarse and dry like he was asking because he had to.

“She tried to seduce Alexander. I'm sure you guys didn't see her but when I came to visit Alexander yesterday, she was lurking around his door and ran off when she saw me.” I took a deep breath in as Alexander turned to stare at me with thril absolutely visible in his eyes.

“Damn! She must have broken into your house.” Someone else chirped in and I wondered how they were going to handle the situation.

“Y'all really need to get a restraining order on her. Our next door neighbor had a freak just like this last season and suddenly she started stalking him too. Eventually she killed him when he wouldn't agree to her advances.” One of Claudia's minions stated and everyone gasped while Adrian heaved a deep sigh.

They're stupid, I know. I understand the pain brother.

“Firstly, everyone of you recording had better stop it the fuck now.” He ordered and there were slight murmurs as they began putting down their phones one after the other.

“If any of the video you just made finds their way to the internet, there's no telling what's going to happen to you.” He said in a calm and relaxed yet emotionless voice.

“Are y'all deaf? Put your phones down.” Adrian barked while Alexander peeled away from Claudia and walked over to me.

No, no, no, you shouldn't be doing that.

“Alex.” Claudia whined with shock on her face while Adrian picked my bag up and Alexander held my hands.

“Y'all were making fun of her and insulting her all at once because she's a slut yeah?” He asked and everyone nodded while the murmurs continued.

“She is a slut.” Someone yelled from the back.

“You can only say that if you haven't had dick in your mouth before and I doubt you haven't, infact a lot of you have offered and thrown yourself at I and my brothers. What different are you?” There was absolutely silence in the hallway and my eyes kept darting back and forth.

What if a teacher comes and sees the scene? I didn't want to be the centre of attention and yet I was getting all the attention in the wrong way.

“Why are you guys defending her? She's clearly a slut and now it seems Alexander was actually cheating on Claudia with her.” One of Claudia's friend muttered and Adrian stepped forward.

“You can record this.” He said.

“You’re all going to apologize to her now because you know who you were just belittling? Our ma—” My heart skipped a few beats as I realized what he was about to say.

“Their step sister.” I cut in immediately before the words will roll off out of his tongue and he turned to stare at me but I averted his gaze.

“Yes, I'm their step sister and you're all stupid for not trying to verify before making your stupid post and little gossips. And Claudia, you saw me at their house because I live there. It's my house too and I was just going down for dinner when you saw me.” Everyone gasped as they began muttering among themselves while Claudia looked like she had been struck on the face.
