“Are you crazy? Why would you cut me off like that?” Adrian queried and I only swallowed biting the insides of my lips. After the incident, I could still hear their apologies even as I walked down the hallway and all I could think of was the kind of power this boys held over the school and students. “Answer me!” Adrian hit the wall right above my hair and I rolled out of the confinement. “If you think I'm crazy for not wanting you to proclaim to the whole school that we're all mated and probably gaining me more enemies than I already have them I'm fine with being crazy.” I yelled right back at him and he glared at me, before wrapping his hands around my neck like he was going to choke me to death. “I can't…breathe.” I muttered, gasping for air but still trying to out on a confident look. “I wouldn't mind cutting off your life source if you ever do that again.” He warned and I nodded frantically, just wanting to get out of his grasp. He finally let go and walked out like he hasn't done anything while I went directly to class. “Oh my goodness, girl you're so hot and dope. A complete diva. The way the triples stood up for you, I didn't even know you were their sister.” Bella whined, appearing from nowhere and I placed my hands on my chest in fright. “You really need to stop doing that.” I protested. “Doing what? We have the same class now.” She squealed happily. “Creeping up on me, it's scary.” We walked into class and for the first time since I got into this school, I was actually getting to learn. Okay I'm just exaggerating, this is my second day in school but at least, I wasn't getting bullied. In 45 minutes, class was over and I remained in the class alongside others and soon enough it was time for recess. We were about leaving the class for the cafeteria, I and Bella when suddenly the principal stepped into the class forcing everyone to remain in their seats. “It's been a while that things has been reported stolen and I feel grievous noting that it has resurfaced again.” The principal began and everyone began muttering among themselves. “If you know that you stole anything belonging to someone else, please just signify and we wouldn't have to find the thief in a hard way.” There was silence through out the class and the principal heaved. “Fine then. All your bags would be searched and no one would leave until the stolen item is found.” The principal notified and had us dropping our bags for the search. “Who does this bag belong to?”The principal lifted my bag and I stood up in acknowledgement. “It's mine.” I affirmed and the principal pulled out something out of my bag. “It's yours? How dare you steal someone's family heirloom and yet feel so brazen?” The principals voice echoed round the class and I just smiled a little. “I didn't put that there.” I simply said and the principal scoffed as she signalled for me to come outside. “Really? You're also going to lie about it? Come on here and go straight to my office. I can't condone a thief in my school.” She said sharply and I looked at Bella and then shrugged walking outside. “Claudia darling, come take your heirloom and I'm so sorry for this inconvenience.” Claudia walked out like a bruised little bunny and accepted it with ‘heartfelt’ thanks. “Thanks so much ma'am. My dad would have killed me if I lost this.” Claudia said and while walking back to her seat, she winked at me. “The mission heirloom that was found in my bag belonged to Claudia?” I scoffed already knowing what had transpired. She must have planted that there to implicate me and seeing that the teachers and principal feared her father who I had heard was a every influential Alpha, they wouldn't even want to hear from me. “I believe that I'm entitled to my freedom of speech. I can defend myself, I don't know how that got there.” I protested and the principal walked over and slapped me right across the face. “Stop with the pretense and lies. You know what? You're expelled! Tell your parents I said so.” The principal yelled but I was still processing the slap. Why did everyone feel like they could just lay their hands on me even for no reason? “Okay.” I simply said and picked my bag up when the door suddenly opened revealing Alexander. “Hey, you forgot your lunch at home so mom brought it.” He said handing it to me wouldn't even surveying the room. “Principal Scarlet, I'm sorry for the intrusion.” He greeted with smiles and I just collected it. “Thanks, it's no need though. I just got expelled.” I said casually waving bye to Bella and was about walking out the door when he shielded me with his big ass body. “Woah, hold up. What do you mean? What are you talking about?” He asked and I just rubbed my forehead in frustration. At this rate, I'll get wrinkles before I turn 25. “Is this a ‘Claudia’ situation?” He asked as he saw her smiling I presume. She couldn't even hide the fact that she was a liar. “Yup. Apparently, I stole her family's heirloom and lied about it.” I said casually and Alexander looked up at Principal Scarlet. “You think my sister would steal?” He tilted his head and she made to say something when he turned it to the other side. “More or less, you think she would steal someone's heirloom?” He questioned again, each of the questions heavily stressed like he was trying to pass a message. “My dad has a whole art gallery of heirlooms. I and my brothers has heirlooms we would physically be unable to take everywhere and you think she's going to leave all of that to steal one from someone?” Alexander asked again, his voice sounding unbelievable each time. “Hold on, Alexander. She's your sister?” She questioned in surprise. “You missed the memo, I believe but if you're going to expel her, you might want to speak to my dad first.” Alexander reiterated, holding my hands while Claudia's face physically turned red in anger. “Besides, can I see the heirloom? Is it like a gold plated ruler?” Alexander queried and I nodded immediately wondering how he knew about that. “Didn’t you put that in Alicia's bag yourself, Claudia?” He asked and she stood up stomping her feet. “I know she's your step sister but how can you think that I would do something like that?” Claudia whined while the principals eyes darted back and forth. Oh for a school to be controlled by the parents of the school, the principal clearly is crashing out unsure of whose side to take. “Since Claudia claims she didn't put that there herself, now would be the best time to check the camera's.” Alexander pointed out and the principal nodded in agreement. “Cameras? It would have been great if our school had one.” Claudia stressed and Alexander raised a brow. “You think we don't have one?” “We do?” “Miss Claudia, we do. Alpha Richard had some set up in each point of our school last weekend.” The principal said and I watched as the color drained from her face.ALICIA I stood there and watched as the principal tried to wrap her head around Alexander's revelation. The smug look on Claudia's face was nowhere to be found, and I could tell she was starting to panic. The overly composed Claudia was no longer comfortable, her face a mixture of fury and fear. “So I guess we'll just have to take a look at the footage, won't we?” Alexander's voice was calm, too calm, making it clear he had the upper hand now. The truth was about to come out and there was no way Claudia could lie her way out of it. "N-No, that won't be necessary," Claudia stammered, brushing her hair behind her ear in a poor attempt to salvage the situation before it got out of hand. "It was probably just a... misunderstanding." "A misunderstanding? Really? You just tried to get me expelled." My voice came out louder than intended. "I'll handle this," Principal Scarlet stiffly turned towards Alexander. "I apologize for the accusation. There clearly needs to be a thorough inve
Alicia pov I opened my eyes again only to see that I was laying on a bed in a very bright room. I turned sideways and saw the blue curtain. I groaned in annoyance. “Oh. I was taken to the school clinic, and I am more than sure of it.” I tried my best to sit up only to see the curtain flung open as my stepbrothers all rushed in at once, while my teacher slowly walked behind them, and of course, a few other students were peeping around. Clearly, they wanted to know what exactly happened to me. I looked at them as they rushed towards me, mostly Alexander, as he had a very concerned stare. “Are you alright?Hope you don't feel any pain anymore?” he questioned as I smiled faintly and then sat up, with his help. They all stared at me in concern, clearly wanting me to say a thing or two, but I still stayed silent until the nurse walked in and was surprised to see all of them around me. “Wow. Do you... guys really have to gather around like she was dying? She's actually not dying.” sh
ALICIA POVHearing those words from Claudia and her peers, I felt a bit pressured and even so angry that I wanted to. “Arnold, just attack them at that moment.” But I held myself. I held to my feet not wanting to move further. I just stood there listening to them as they laughed about what they did to me. I can't even imagine how rude and wicked they could be. They actually saw me as a pawn. For them to get back at Alexander and the rest, I would not let that happen. I have to also get closer to the boys. That way I would easily be able to get through to them and be able to protect them. Because this way Claudia is ready to go as far as she can just to get them wrapped around her hands, and I would not let that happen. I quickly walked away from them, not even waiting to listen to any of their words. Just as I got outside, I bumped into Arnold as he had already packed my bag. I looked at him in surprise as he smiled cheesily at me. “I have been searching everywhere for you. School
ALICIA POVOf course, it was none other than Claudia, and this time around she was alone. She looked like she was going for a special outing, and even the way she dressed, her unique taste always stood out, and of course, she gained everyone’s attention. She looked at me and then hissed very loudly as Alexander was clearly holding his cutlery. I could see the way he held it; I could tell he was already angry. It felt like he should just squeeze it until it shattered into pieces. Arnold, not aware of the atmosphere, looked at Claudia and gasped. “Where exactly are you going to?” he questioned her as she smiled cheesily and pulled one of the chairs from the other table toward ours. And of course, she sat right in between me and Alexander just like she always wanted. She would always find a way to get in between and cause more trouble. I rolled my eyes and just pretended like I was eating my food as she stared at me with full attention, not even answering Arnold. And of course, Arnold
ALEXANDER POVI stood outside calmly with both my hands fixed inside my pocket as I waited for Claudia to come out. I turned around after hearing the clicking sound of heels because, of course, she was the one. She couldn't do without heels on her feet. Even when she's at home, she wants to be clicking and making sounds so everyone could know about her arrival. I looked at her and rolled my eyes as she rushed toward me and tried to drag me, which made me a bit surprised as I flung my hand from hers. “What's your problem? Where are you pulling me to? Let's discuss it right here,” I said to her angrily as she looked at me like she was about to cry. “Really? Has it come to this? I can't even pull you to a corner romantically and let us talk. Do not forget you are mine,” she said as I laughed. “I know I'm yours, okay? Yeah, I'm dating you, and sometimes I feel like I regret it with the way you behave. Why can't you just change? Why can't you just be who you're supposed to be? I fell in
ALICIA POVStanding in a corner, I watched Alexander and Claudia being all around each other and I couldn't help but feel a little bit of teardrop trying to slip its way out of my eyes, but I immediately held it in as I bit the down of my lips. Feeling emotional, I turned around and I raced off not even waiting to see what the final result would be. I stood there for a while thinking maybe, just maybe, Alex was doing that to keep her silent. But from how they stood, how they continued kissing, I could tell that he was not doing it for anything or to try and ease any problem that was happening. He was intentionally doing it. He was intentionally traumatizing me. He was intentionally making things hard for me. As I went back to our table, I noticed Arnold and Adrian were having a very heated argument. Noticing I had arrived, they quickly stopped. "Where have you been since? Were you really in the toilet for hours? Because I can't even believe it," Adrian said to me as I feigned
ALEXANDER POVSitting alone in the restaurant with Claudia was so frustrating. Even after I had told her that kissing was just a mistake and I was just trying to shut her up, she still insisted that I truly loved her. Very stupid girl, I thought to myself as I watched her savoring my food. I tried standing up, but she pulled me back, not even staring back at me, but yet I could feel her stupid gaze piercing knives into my heart. "What? Where are you going? Are you rushing to go and meet Alicia so you can protect her or what? What are you trying to do? Let her be? Stop acting like you love her so much. There's nothing going on between the both of you. She's just your stepsister. You have to make it seem as if she's all you've got," Claudia said, then looked at me as she had that devilish smile on her face. I don't know where she got it from, but it always made me see her as a devil, just how she always used to be. I don't know how I was so foolish enough to actually fall in love
ALICIA POVAs I stormed into my room, I shut the door behind me angrily and paced back and forth while I whispered to myself. "Why is he even angry with me? Why is he pointing all his anger at me when it's his own girlfriend? That is crazy." I said to myself, feeling frustrated as I rushed to the window after noticing a person standing in front of it only to look down at the gates and see Claudia. She had followed us all the way home. Wow. Yeah, I thought that entering a cab and leaving she had gone the different routes, not knowing that she was still coming to meet us. She was still coming to cause more trouble. "Doesn't she even get tired?" I thought to myself angrily as the door opened. I turned around, but before I could say a word to Alex, he rushed towards me, placed his hands on my cheek gently, and slowly moved his lips closer to mine as I pushed him away. "Stop it. “What do you want from me now?”“Why are you doing this?” “Tell me.”“Why are you doing this to me
ALEXANDER POVI couldn't believe "Alicia did not even give me the chance to show her how I felt, to show her how I cared about her." She didn't even give me that chance. "And instead threw me out before I could even process what was going on." I stood in front of her door, watching, listening to her footsteps as she walked away from the door, my face still directly faced at the door. I turned around slowly, and for the first time, I was speechless, unable to move. I did not know what had gotten into me, but I still had to hold it in. I stood there for a while trying to process everything. "I was just about to confess to her, and she pushed me away while still claiming that Claudia was all I needed." I couldn't believe this. I felt so frustrated, and I walked slowly into the our training room only to see Arnold and Adrian. They were already playing basketball as they looked at me and laughed. "What exactly is your issue, Alexander? You are becoming more complicated than I expected."
