ALICIA

“Are you crazy? Why would you cut me off like that?” Adrian queried and I only swallowed biting the insides of my lips.

After the incident, I could still hear their apologies even as I walked down the hallway and all I could think of was the kind of power this boys held over the school and students.

“Answer me!” Adrian hit the wall right above my hair and I rolled out of the confinement.

“If you think I'm crazy for not wanting you to proclaim to the whole school that we're all mated and probably gaining me more enemies than I already have them I'm fine with being crazy.” I yelled right back at him and he glared at me, before wrapping his hands around my neck like he was going to choke me to death.

“I can't…breathe.” I muttered, gasping for air but still trying to out on a confident look.

“I wouldn't mind cutting off your life source if you ever do that again.” He warned and I nodded frantically, just wanting to get out of his grasp. He finally let go and walked out like he hasn't done anything while I went directly to class.

“Oh my goodness, girl you're so hot and dope. A complete diva. The way the triples stood up for you, I didn't even know you were their sister.” Bella whined, appearing from nowhere and I placed my hands on my chest in fright.

“You really need to stop doing that.” I protested.

“Doing what? We have the same class now.” She squealed happily.

“Creeping up on me, it's scary.” We walked into class and for the first time since I got into this school, I was actually getting to learn.

Okay I'm just exaggerating, this is my second day in school but at least, I wasn't getting bullied.

In 45 minutes, class was over and I remained in the class alongside others and soon enough it was time for recess.

We were about leaving the class for the cafeteria, I and Bella when suddenly the principal stepped into the class forcing everyone to remain in their seats.

“It's been a while that things has been reported stolen and I feel grievous noting that it has resurfaced again.” The principal began and everyone began muttering among themselves.

“If you know that you stole anything belonging to someone else, please just signify and we wouldn't have to find the thief in a hard way.” There was silence through out the class and the principal heaved.

“Fine then. All your bags would be searched and no one would leave until the stolen item is found.” The principal notified and had us dropping our bags for the search.

“Who does this bag belong to?”The principal lifted my bag and I stood up in acknowledgement.

“It's mine.” I affirmed and the principal pulled out something out of my bag.

“It's yours? How dare you steal someone's family heirloom and yet feel so brazen?” The principals voice echoed round the class and I just smiled a little.

“I didn't put that there.” I simply said and the principal scoffed as she signalled for me to come outside.

“Really? You're also going to lie about it? Come on here and go straight to my office. I can't condone a thief in my school.” She said sharply and I looked at Bella and then shrugged walking outside.

“Claudia darling, come take your heirloom and I'm so sorry for this inconvenience.” Claudia walked out like a bruised little bunny and accepted it with ‘heartfelt’ thanks.

“Thanks so much ma'am. My dad would have killed me if I lost this.” Claudia said and while walking back to her seat, she winked at me.

“The mission heirloom that was found in my bag belonged to Claudia?” I scoffed already knowing what had transpired.

She must have planted that there to implicate me and seeing that the teachers and principal feared her father who I had heard was a every influential Alpha, they wouldn't even want to hear from me.

“I believe that I'm entitled to my freedom of speech. I can defend myself, I don't know how that got there.” I protested and the principal walked over and slapped me right across the face.

“Stop with the pretense and lies. You know what? You're expelled! Tell your parents I said so.” The principal yelled but I was still processing the slap.

Why did everyone feel like they could just lay their hands on me even for no reason?

“Okay.” I simply said and picked my bag up when the door suddenly opened revealing Alexander.

“Hey, you forgot your lunch at home so mom brought it.” He said handing it to me wouldn't even surveying the room.

“Principal Scarlet, I'm sorry for the intrusion.” He greeted with smiles and I just collected it.

“Thanks, it's no need though. I just got expelled.” I said casually waving bye to Bella and was about walking out the door when he shielded me with his big ass body.

“Woah, hold up. What do you mean? What are you talking about?” He asked and I just rubbed my forehead in frustration.

At this rate, I'll get wrinkles before I turn 25.

“Is this a ‘Claudia’ situation?” He asked as he saw her smiling I presume. She couldn't even hide the fact that she was a liar.

“Yup. Apparently, I stole her family's heirloom and lied about it.” I said casually and Alexander looked up at Principal Scarlet.

“You think my sister would steal?” He tilted his head and she made to say something when he turned it to the other side.

“More or less, you think she would steal someone's heirloom?” He questioned again, each of the questions heavily stressed like he was trying to pass a message.

“My dad has a whole art gallery of heirlooms. I and my brothers has heirlooms we would physically be unable to take everywhere and you think she's going to leave all of that to steal one from someone?” Alexander asked again, his voice sounding unbelievable each time.

“Hold on, Alexander. She's your sister?” She questioned in surprise.

“You missed the memo, I believe but if you're going to expel her, you might want to speak to my dad first.” Alexander reiterated, holding my hands while Claudia's face physically turned red in anger.

“Besides, can I see the heirloom? Is it like a gold plated ruler?” Alexander queried and I nodded immediately wondering how he knew about that.

“Didn’t you put that in Alicia's bag yourself, Claudia?” He asked and she stood up stomping her feet.

“I know she's your step sister but how can you think that I would do something like that?” Claudia whined while the principals eyes darted back and forth.

Oh for a school to be controlled by the parents of the school, the principal clearly is crashing out unsure of whose side to take.

“Since Claudia claims she didn't put that there herself, now would be the best time to check the camera's.” Alexander pointed out and the principal nodded in agreement.

“Cameras? It would have been great if our school had one.” Claudia stressed and Alexander raised a brow.

“You think we don't have one?”

“We do?”

“Miss Claudia, we do. Alpha Richard had some set up in each point of our school last weekend.” The principal said and I watched as the color drained from her face.

Alicia’s POV“You kids had been through so much together,” Dad said. “And I can’t believe that I was trying to separate all of you.”I looked down and bit my bottom lip. “I don’t blame you, Dad. We should have told you both about everything before we even accepted this bond.”Adrian took my hand. “We should have– that was the right thing to do. We are sorry, but please, don’t send her away.” Adrian locked eyes with Dad, he looked like he would break into tears. “I–” Dad started and gulped. “I don’t think I have the right to do that anymore. It’s past that stage. You’ll get my blessings.”Mum looked up at Dad. “Richard, I think that’s the best thing to do– this is their destiny.”Dad nodded at her and smiled. I smiled at Adrian. A burst of joy filled my inside as I got the freedom I’d always wanted. Freedom to be with my mates. Adrian cupped my neck and kissed me in the lips, my eyes bulged out and I pushed him off. “Not in front of them,” I whispered to him.Mum smiled. “It’s fine.”

Alicia's POV“Where’s the damn ambulance?” I cussed as I followed the guards who pushed Alex out of the school’s premises. The ambulance still hadn’t arrived and Alex was losing so much blood. At this point, my heart was in my throat. “Maybe we should use our car to take him to the hospital. I’m freaking out.” Just then we heard the siren sound of the ambulance. It was approaching in the distance. “There it is, it’s coming!!” I yelled almost jumping. I faced Alex, his eyes were dim.“You’ll be fine, okay? The ambulance is here and it will get you to hospital soon, you’ll be fine.”He smiled. “I hope. I’m not healing, Alicia. It is sil–ver,” as his voice broke and he struggled to talk, I saw his tongue was turning purple. My eyes bulged out as I took his hand. “You are Alex, you can go through anything and I know that you will survive this too.”He grinned. “I love you.” “I lo–” my words were cut short when nurses flocked out to the ambulance and rushed him off the stretcher and carr

She was slipping back away from Alex's side, before I could get to her, Alex grabbed her arm and threw his hand over her shoulder, smiling.“Hey, Briana?” He asked, “Are you going somewhere?”Briana shook her head, grinning sheepishly. “No. Of course not.”She slipped her hand into her purse and just as she pulled out her phone to drop it on the floor, Alex grabbed it.“I'll help you to give this.” He said and handed it out to the guard behind them. “This belongs to Briana.” Alex said and handed out his phone too.I nodded at Adrian and we went to stand behind Alex and Briana, our eyes on her so she wouldn't move an inch.“I want to go and ease myself,” Briana said.I smirked, when she turned to leave and she saw me there. “I'm sorry but no one is allowed to leave.” I pointed at the exit points for her and she saw the security guards mounted there. She gulped, her hands were sha

  • Triple Trouble, My fated mates   Chapter 148_Missed Steps

Alicia’s POVI winked at Adrian and Alex who were pretending to be fighting. I rushed to the door and opened it up. She rushed in and saw Adrian throwing a fist at Alex that he dodged. “What are you both fighting for?” She screamed. Alex pushed Adrian against the wall and started to punch him in the stomach and then Adrian pushed Alex to Briana, and he fell on her, sending her to the floor. She pushed Alex off and ran away holding her leg. “Ouch!!!” She cried and I winked at Alex and Adrian as I rushed after her. “What’s wrong with them?” she asked as she breathed out heavily in the hallway. I sighed. “They had been fighting because Alex blamed me for the loss of your pup.”Briana paused, realizing she did act like someone who just lost a pup. She reached for her stomach as she bent over. I raised a brow watching her act in her drama. “Oh my goodness.” She cried out. “It was so painful, Alicia.”I nodded and parted her back. “You will be fine, I promise you that.” I touched her sho

Alicia's POV“Guys, please stop fighting.” I said as I tried to push Adrian away. Adrian didn’t move an inch, he was infuriated and ready to fight Alex. Goddess, I didn’t bargain for this drama- not after all I heard Briana say outside. That wretch was the cause of all these problems. I would make her pay, she would regret coming into our lives. “I don’t want to fight you, Adrian,” Alexs said. His head tilted a bit as he stared at me from behind Adrian. He tried to touch Adrian’s shoulder but Adrian shoved his hand off. “Don’t touch me with your filthy hand. Get out of this room and go meet your baby mama.” Alex gritted his teeth as rage flashed through his eyes. Why did his mood change suddenly at the mention of Briana, his baby mama?I had never seen that reaction from him before. What was going on? It was not anger towards Adrian and I but anger towards– Briana. It was like he was irritated at the mention of her name.“Adrian, I don’t want to fight with you– let me talk to Alicia

Alex's POV“I have to see Briana,” I uttered, parking my car. I nearly jumped out of the car after opening the door. I came home later than the others, because I stopped at the hospital to get some drugs for Briana.I reached the sitting room, Dad was seated on the sofa, with a magazine in his hand. “Good afternoon, Dad.” I greeted him as I passed.“Alex,” he called me. I halted. “Where are you going?” He asked. I raised the drugs I bought that were in a bag with a boldly printed hospital written on it. “Isn’t it obvious? Briana was hurt, so I went to get her some drugs. I am taking these to her.” I finished and turned to leave.“Stop it, Alex.” he stood up, and I paused again, my shoulder dropping. “What are you going to say again?” I asked. “Ermm. Give me that. Go to your room and I will come see you there.”I turned to him. “What?” I asked. “Why?” He looked away from me. A pang struck my chest and I went two steps closer to him. “Is Briana okay?” He smiled. “Yes, she is.” He rea
