Claudia's POV

I felt Kinn’s other hand on my waist and I only just realized I was straddling him. His face was incredibly close to mine and his gaze drifted to my neck. I held my breath as Gladia pulsed in my insides.

“You should be careful how close you come to me, Mate,” he growled. Kinn was drawn to me and Gladia wanted him too. My knife was still at his throat, and he was leaning on it as he reached for my neck.

I jumped off him, a little cut on his throat. “You are crazy.” I snapped at him as I dropped the blood stained knife.

“I am crazy for you.” he replied and relaxed on his chair. I yanked my phone from him. It was truly a message from my father.

TEXT FROM DAD:

CLAUDIA, THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT IN YOUR SCHOOL, RUMOR HAD IT THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. COME HOME NOW!!
