Claudia's POV

“Oh no!!!” I yelled as Alicia fell into the water. I didn’t mean to do that.

Alexander had dived in before I could stop him. “Fool, does he want to kill himself?”

I was about to dash out to call the guards but I turned to see Arnold talking to them already. He turned and pointed, my heart skipped a bit.

Was he pointing at me?

Was he telling them I did it

They turned and were running up to me. I turned the opposite side as I hiked away. “I can’t get into any more trouble. I should never have come here in the first place. Ughh.” I groaned as someone pushed me down.

I looked up with a frown, he just passed without apologizing, everyone was running for their life, because of fear that the ice would crash again.

I pulled myself off the ground and I turned back to see Arnold and the other guard race up to the hold Alicia had fallen. I sighed. So they weren’t after me anyways.

I rushed away anyway. I didn’t come with any car so I stood at the roadside, hailing down cabs. I
