Xavier came home afterwards, he had a long day and all he needed at that moment was a good rest.

He parked his car safely in the garage and entered the mansion. He was surprised to see his parents in the living room staring at him as he entered, they looked like they were in the middle of a serious discussion before he arrived.

He acknowledged them and proceeded towards the staircase hoping silently they would ignore his presence.

"Where have you been, Xavier? You were not at the office" A cold voice asked from behind. Xavier halted in his steps.

He knew too well who the voice belonged to, he turned around "I was out father" He did not think telling his parents about his every whereabouts was an appropriate thing to do at his age.

"Why did you drop by at the office?" Ever since his dad handed the company over to him, he never visited the company again so this came as a shock.

"Nothing, just wanted to see how it has been all these years or can't I?"
