Nora’s POV

I arrived at Jessica’s house and lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling.

Both her parents worked and hence Jessica and her younger sister would have the house to themselves.

“What? Miss me already?” Jessica teased while coming out of the bathroom.

“I met him,” I confessed.

“Who?”

“Alex Rivera.”

“What?” she asked, stunned.  

“I said I met Alex Rivera,” I repeated.

She threw her towel on a nearby chair and snapped. “Are you crazy, Nora? Didn’t I-“

“Dude, relax,” I cut her off. “He came to me while I was in the library, not the other way round okay.”

She took a deep breath. “What did you guys talk about?”

I recalled the entire thing that happened.

“He seems persistent. Still, are you sure you didn’t give him any hints because he’s handsome?” she asked suspiciously.
