Magnus' POV - Pack Banter

The letter, now a resolute rejection, served as my proclamation of autonomy and a reminder that my personal life as Alpha Magnus was not subject to negotiation.

As we walked along the borders to escape the stress from the pack office. The only sounds were our footsteps and leaves crunching beneath us. Nathan, always sharp, sensed I needed some quiet and walked alongside me without saying much.

"Nice night for a patrol," Nathan remarked, breaking the silence. His eyes scanned the area, vigilant and focused.

"Yeah, it's a relief to get away from the chaos," I replied, appreciating the tranquility of the night.

A rustle in the bushes caught our attention, and two warriors, Jake and Maya, joined our side. Jake grinned, "Thought you could use some company, Alpha."

"Always appreciated," I nodded, grateful for the camaraderie. The group continued the patrol, the conversation ebbing and flowing as we moved along the border.
